PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4/PSP) | February 2014

Hmmm so I'm not the top poster anymore? Too busy with TitS and my Toukiden spreadsheet so I didn't have time to post.

Should I employ my infamous triple post technique?

Oh well, at least I'm the top poster in the Toukiden demo and OT thread.

You should be ashamed of yourself

Okay, now I have the best/easiest combo for Trapt.

Choose any room with stairs, and make sure there is a wall directly across from them(as in if you ran down the stairs in a straight line and kept going, you smack into the wall like an idiot).

Now, set an Iron Ball at the top of the stairs, and a magnet wall at the bottom. By that wall I discussed, place a Fire Bomb.

Now, trap enemies with magnet wall first, followed by iron ball activation. The momentum from the stairs will send the ball at breakneck speed down the stairs, and the momentum from the ball hitting the enemy will send them straight into that back wall, and your fire bomb trap. Activate, and watch them burn! Rinse and repeat.

It's surprising Atlus hasn't announced one, P4G did extremely well, and they're currently making Persona 3 movies

I don't think it's happening. Labyrinth and P4A2 will probably be the last we see of those characters as far as videogames are concerned, it'll be all about P5 after that.

Why not? If they released an improved version of P3, I can see the money rake in because fans are dying for a definitive version.

Other than that I really hope that they release a Vita version of P5.

They could release it along the last film. Persona 3-2 on Fall 2014 alongside Persona 5 (game). Then they could announce on Spring they'd release the definitive version around the last film release date.

People will be amuzed, or raging, they'll want to play the Answer. That's the best moment to release it.

What did the new PS3 update (4.55) do?

How important is the multiplayer aspect of hunting games? I don't plan on playing multiplayer with Toukiden at all. Would something else be a better investment?

Definitely fun. Every aspect of hunting is improved and much faster. You get to exchange information, ideas and playstyles. You also improve by seeing how better players hunt.

Even if you don't play multiplayer, the game has AIs that are competent enough to actually help you during missions.

What do you mean by better investment?

Multiplayer is like 45%-65% content of a hunting games, but for Toukiden, I think it's fine if you want to playing solo since it have story and characters.

Well if a huge chunk of content is multiplayer stuff that I'll never see that doesn't strike me as $40 well spent.
But if it's all playable solo then I'm happy.

Everything is playable solo. I don't have the game, but at least in the demo when you wanted to enter in the multiplayer lobbie (quests are different for the story ones) you have three options: Ad-hoc, Online or Solo.

The AI is decent enough. Try the demo.

I'm having a really fun time with Sly on Vita. Only complaints so far: 1 minute load times (not scientific, just probably feels this long) and fucking touch controls. My blood was boiling when I was fighting the boss and the screen wasn't registering my input to put on/take off my samurai armor.

Overall though, really fun so far.

another OG Vita or 2K Vita?
OLED. I was thinking the same thing, but the potential for being digusted by one of the screens doesn't appeal to me, since I'd want to swap my Vita's out here and there to change it up.

Hooray tax return season, white OLED will be mine.

C'mooooon Craigslist...
