I'm hyped for Strider soon. Is that coming to Vita as well & is it cross-buy if so?

I just met Aeris

and I have to say those pre rendered backgrounds look amazing with the bilinear filtering. A lot better that I was expecting. The only thing that hasn't aged so well are the character models on the field. It's quite impressive for its time.

Does this game even need spoiler tags?

Doesn't matter it's still SAO. I really liked reading the books of it. When the anime started, I cannot get over how bad it was compared to the novels. I didn't even finish watching it.

Really glad I checked out the Dustforce demo before outright buying it, as I originally planned on doing. I love me a precise platformer, however I just felt I could not get the precision needed for the game, and I tried both the D-Pad and the analog stick. Both were infuriating. Shame, seems like it could be a good game, but as of now it is a definite pass for myself.

Yes, the 2nd half is kinda weak compared to the first half. I hope they don't mess up season 2 when it will feature GGO.

Definitely read the books. I vastly prefer any book actually than their anime adaptation. This is of course if the original content was from the books itself. I really like imagining what happens in my head. It feels more cinematic or something like that.

When the content of SAO was transferred to the anime form, I felt like it was too cheesy so it felt really off for me.

You won't be able to read the rest of the books in Baka-tsuki since SAO was already licensed for release in NA. They stopped translating it a few month ago so you have to buy the rest legally.

So Olli Olli is really addictive , i wasnt sure about the purchase but someone said it was the perfect mix between Hotline Miami and Tony Hawk, they where damn right. The music , fast pacing and graphics are pretty much the Hotline Miami part and the rest is all TonyHawk Greatness. Excellent title even for that price.

OlliOlli + Tony Hawk 2 playlist (thanks music unlimited) = gaming bliss.

Neither. It has framerate drops that are very noticeable in certain levels, less so in others. Whether or not that bothers you is a subjective matter.

Sadly you are right, real old games look millions time better than indie games that try to look old(just because they are not able to do better), for example this is a shot'em up for amiga

despite the resolution and the various hardware limitations(especially the number of colors on screen) it looks a world apart.

Yeah, in the end its Sony fault, but I really dont want to start downloading games digital on my Vita. I am starting to reach the 100 bubbles limit soon and there are still some games I need. They really need to patch this shit out soon.

And it uses a very limited palette, as you can see everything on the screen is made with very few shades of green, gray, orange/brown and blue, something that probably no one is still capable of doing.... 16 bit era artists were really awesome.

I have no idea why they choose that box art for the Vita version. My guess is they want the Vita version not to bomb due to low install base, so they use this cover to:

- ...make the game "recognizable" by older fans, who bought the PS2 versions with the same covers.
- ...cater to everyone who thinks that a cover showing a guy with a sword and a girl with a gun showing her butt is a good game.
