I know it's not a gif but this "commercial" for How To Dance Like A White Guy still cracks me up.
Where did Shakira get such effective bleach from? Beyonce's dying to know.
Now seriously I just learnt this is a thing. It's really stupid, worse than "Asian can't drive", I want to believe no one has ever taken it seriously and therefore I won't bother listing famous white people that can dance exceptionally well.

Here's my issue... I get that this is just a playful racial stereotype and not oppressive racism. That's fine. However, wouldn't the stereotype about black people and watermelon fall under the same category? Because someone was already banned for that in this very thread.
I just don't get the double standard.

When has anyone saying any of those sort of things not resulted in swift justice? I'm hard pressed to recall a thread where people have gone off the rails on issues of race and the mods haven't intervened (which is what makes GAF so great).
Is the thread racist? Not really. Is it lazy? Kinda (at least from where I'm sitting). Still can't beat em join em I guess...
So yeah, id say this thread and its "double standard" which perturbs you so much, is pretty benign by comparison.

I learned to this when I was Shuffle-bot for Halloween 3 years ago. Fun as hell to do.It's really hard to describe and I never found a good tut on the web, but if you study closely, you'll see that each leg makes 4 moves before the cycle repeats:
1 - Left is up and out to the side
Right is down and out to the side
2 - Left is down inside in front of the Right leg
Right is up inside behind the Left leg (his ankle touches his leg but his foot does not touch the ground)
[the next 2 are the opposite of the two above, like a mirror image]
3 - Left is down and out to the side
Right is up and out to the side
4 - Left is up inside and behind the Right leg
Right is down and in front of the Left leg
The illusion comes from the crossing of the legs, the alternating feet positions, and the slight shift of the torso to favor the side where the leg is up. The arms then help to provide the legs thrust to change positions and keep your balance.
I may have even made it sound more complicated than it is, but once you get the rhythm down, again, your only enemy will be your own stamina.
