Really you sound like my girlfriend lol, nah I'd blow it at Chevys or at the bar or somewhere else in a matter of an hour. Got a snow day, dont rain on my parade, thats why i have a job so i can buy what i want :P

If i get one I'll sell it back on ebay to recover such a large sum of money i just spent hehe

Yup.

They made you do it for PC right? I had to log into origin. Don't do it man, you will get a key and you will ultimately regret spending that money. Look, i am as fucking hyped as everyone else. I have the CE pre-ordered for X1 and the PC version pre-ordered from GMG. I have a stupid amount invested into this game so believe me when i say i know how it feels. I cannot wait to dive into this beta but be strong bro.
 
Do dummy acounts work on XB1? Like one guy downloads it on a junk gamertag and shares the account.

I GOT IN, HALLELUJAH!!!

I actually received the email about 50 minutes ago but missed it because it was in the newsletters file on outlook.

So, just a reminder, if you use OUTLOOK (specifically the built in mail app on windows 8.1) as your email provider, check you newsletters file for the email with the code!

Also check your promotions tab in Gmail.
 
i said from the beginning that luck based betas are a horrible idea...and everyone said I was wrong. Now most of it know how it feels to be a loyal follower and enter right as it goes up, and get nothing for it. Im just hoping there are more xbone waves tonight.
 
It seems like the first wave of codes was to people with large numbers of twitter followers and also antitrop 'cause he's so cool about Titanfall.

I was cool too. Why don't I into code? :(
 
After applying the other night, I didn't even get a confirmation email saying i'd applied, is this the case for everybody or will I need to reapply?

Its a staggered beta process, they don't care who gets in but just how many people get in at a time.

I didn't get a confirmation email after applying either but I got my XB1 code about an hour ago. I did apply about 10-15 minutes after the sign up went live.
 
Fuck. Thought I had that second cliffy code for a second. It acts like you have redeemed it before telling you that you're out of luck. Fuck origin.

this got me excited I rushed to check the promotions tab and nothing. I never get into these betas.

yep, same thing. I was surprised at first because I had tried like 20 letters and numbers beforehand.
