PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4/PSP) | February 2014

IS far from amazing , as part of the Curve bundle is an "ok" game but as a stand alone product is really something i will never pay for seriously bad and generic platform game.Non interesting character , null story, etc. Performance is good but looks and plays like a flash game.

No, it doesn't at all. There aren't any other platformers that play like this, with this kind of puzzle/stealth/speedrun design, let alone with all the gadgets... therefore it's not generic. There doesn't need to be a story because it's a platformer, and there actually is one, it's just told very sparingly, passively and effectively with an awesome ending. The interest level of the character, as a clone, one of presumably millions, is kind of a silly complaint. It doesn't look like a flash game at all, it's not even flat 2D sprites, and the platforming is pinpoint perfect, not floaty or tuned to browser window keyboard controls. Maybe you don't like it, that's fine, but none of this stuff is true.

Vita is going to have a CRAZY year between localizations and Indies

First we have hunting games G versions

SSDelta, ROAce, Toukiden Extreme. (all of which i expect to hit this year)

Then we have new contender Freedom Wars which I also expect to see.

Also G Version RPG Valhalla Knights Gold (lol)

What else?

NIS is doing Dangan Ronpa 2 and Disgaea 4

Aksys is doing Blaz Blue and The Blaz Blue Visual Novel

We are getting Various Gust games - Monster MonPiece, Demon Gaze etc...

Dude.... We haven't even heard much out of Xseed for 2014...

I am sure I am missing a ton. We really need an organized list separating all of these titles and genres but VITA is getting Massive amounts of software already this year

All I need is Life and Hometown. I swear even if I have to sell some of my games to buy that, I would definitely BUY IT, DAY ONE.
Fighting in broad daylight in Akihabara would be a good way to top it.

Although I still have to prepare for MonMon.

P4G is way more accessible than I thought it would be. I'm about 11 or 12 hours in and I'm lovin' it. I should have bought this game a long time ago.

That looks really good, is it native res? If not, those screens sure have some nice AA. The one that is (probably) a chimera is my favorite :) Let's see when they decide to release the game
Yeah, those shots are. But the demo wasn't, so everything up until now might've just been bullshots from Sony. I'm hoping the demo was just an much earlier build and they aren't lying to our faces (SS' press screenshots didn't).

I am really happy with all the niche stuff Vita is getting this year.

Since I have an EU account I am waiting for Ys Celceta, Holy Sorcery Saga, Hatsune Miku f and Danganronpa.

Plus the Neptune Idol game and Monster Monpiece.

Vita is a great complement to my PC gaming.

Fuuuuu p4g is back at 30 bucks :(

+1 recomendation for Steamworld Dig. Pure 3DS crack, and should be just as good on vita/ps3

Deception 4 15 min Video

+ trap combo from the Vita version(male enemies lose armor too)

Leaked EU ps+ for March (Rumour):
PS4: Dead Nation
PS3: Tomb Raider, Brothers a tale of two sons
Vita:Smart As, Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD
https://www.gamepointsnow.com/blog/...-europe-content-includes-dead-nation-for-ps4/

I have my doubts on Dead Nation, it's not even announced right?
But maybe this means that the Vita version will come soon.

Could someone post that screenshot of the Bear from Dangan Ronpa where his dialog box reads 'Do you love me?'
Won't be getting DR until end of this month, but I'll handle it fine =V

So even outside of GAF I keep hearing about Daganrompa and even though it seems like something I wouldn't like I feel the need to buy it.

But instead I've decided to take a crack at VLR and if I like that then I will see about trying Daganrompa.

Day 1 if native res.

Psh, day one either way.

Sadly, imo, we don't really have any games that command as much attention as last year yet...

No, Killzone:Mercs. No, Tearaways. No, Muramasas or Dragon Crowns. etc. We are getting more Indie love that's for sure, as signing them kinda exploded last year, so development should begin to end this year. And localizations are taking off which is really sweet and allows people to branch into games they'd never thought they'd get to experience. But still neither of those fill my need for BIG NEW games.

we're being flooded with just indies, monster hunting, and visual novels. Nothing is screaming out at me as THE title to get this year.

That's why you bought your new and shiny PS4 for!

1)What's wrong with monster hunting and visual novels? Aren't Monster hunter, Ace Attorney, 999/VLR games to get on 3DS? Double standards even here in Vitagaf?

2)flooded with monster hunting and visual novels? Are you serious? What can you buy these days other than Toukiden and Daganronpa(that's not even a pure visual novel)?
Have you forgot that soon will come games like sorcery saga, ys, deception 4, dynasty warriors 8, final fantasy x/X-2, demon gaze etc? What are you talking about?

2)Do you buy games to have fun or for what? Because if fun is what matters then there's no point complaining about the size or genre of a game, especially when Vita is getting a wide range of games types.

Looked good, it's on my Steam wishlist. It's probably more expensive on Vita, so it'll be staying on my Steam wishlist and waiting for a sale.

The unannounced rumoured InFAMOUS game might work for you. :P

From what I have seen of Freedom Wars I would argue that it has the potential to be amazing.

Then again I am a sucker for Multiplayer action games
