I don't think confusion is going to cut it. He just can't tank long enough to pull it off, and digrat can't even last long enough to get off dig reliably.

We can do it. There are just two mandatory trainer battles with Ghost types left in the Tower. It'll be painful, but we can still do it.

Drowzee not evolving may actually be more likely. Which means that, of course, Drowzee will evolve precisely at the appointed 26.

Only Agatha has Gengars. There might be another Haunter, but there are only two Channeler battles and Haunter isn't that much scarier with Lick (physical attack) and Night Shade (Fixed damage).
