How would you rate your own attractiveness (1 to 10)?

I like to think I'm really cute so like anywhere from a 6 to an 8. But I'm not sure other people see it so realistically a 4-6.

I thought of myself as a 9 when I was 17-19, an 8 from 19-24, and now a 7.5 since I have a receding hairline. In my 40's I'll be a 5 at this rate. Fuck aging. Luckily for me I found my life partner at 21.

Most people tend to think lower of themselves than they actually are since you're aware of every imperfection that most people probably wouldn't even notice.

The average on Gaf seems to be about 7 or 8 so far. God damn you handsome fucking devils. Who knew a video game forum was the secret hideout for all the worlds under appreciated hot men?

Guilty as charged sir. I think its more a long the lines of, we're the hawt dudes that are a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle akward on t3h dates. So we all come here and feel cool about ourselves and our hawtness. With threads like these.

6.5ish. Maybe 7.

I'm short though, so that's probably a massive knock off of points in most people's book. If you're just seeing my face though, everything's pretty good!

My lady friends say I'm an 8-10 (utter bullshit I think)

I feel that if I was in really great shape I could be a 7.

Right now I'm probably a 6 at best.

Feel like a 4.

I am in America. About a third of all Americans are obese and another third are overweight (but not so far fat as to be labelled as obese). I figure, being a decently muscular non-fatty, I am probably above 99% of those people. I have been told that I am attractive by quite a few women and have never had issues getting a date, even with women that are generally considered very attractive by my friends.

So, I put myself as an 8 or a 9, at least compared to other Americans.

I have the confidence of a 10 though whicheans more than anything. I can do whatever the hell I want, physical attributes be damned.

I would like to think of myself as a solid 4-5, but I feel like a 2-3. Either way, the prognosis looks dire.

Conversely, there are a few "studies" that seem to indicate the opposite trend...

By the standards of every man in the world, probably like a 3 or maybe a 4 on my best day.

By general standards probably like a 6, possibly an 8 if I lost weight.

10.

6'5", 220 lbs, 11% body fat, thick wavy hair, piercing blue eyes, large and imposing forearms with prominent vascularity, and a perfectly proportionate nose.

Fuck it's good to be me.

That's true if you think men don't care about their appearance. Any person that cares about their looks will be their own worst critic.

Too much truth. I'm young and short and gay and a man. And I've invested a lot of time and energy into my appearance which is annoying. Because as much as I like to say I do this for myself, it's dumb because my audience is mostly oblivious.

That's not what I meant.

I meant that women are fare more likely to underestimate themselves in appearance, and men tend to overestimate how they appear to others.
