I think in a way it's a blessing that his manifested so early; he's going to grow up with it, and even though kids can be cruel, since he's so young it's not going to be a huge deal by the time he's in high school. All the other kids will be used to it. (He's ten now)

Yeah, getting it so late in life was incredibly hard. Especially because, before it happened, I was finally starting to feel a lot more comfortable in my own skin, being 20, finally out on my own in Los Angeles, and making some great friends/meeting nice girls. And then it happened, and it was like it sent me right back to self esteem level 0! It put me in quite a funk for many, many years, and then I met Kaleen when I was about 24; we started dating the following year, and we've been together ever since! She is indeed fuck awesome, and I just love her to pieces. She's also a gamer, D&D nerd, writer, animation/comic book fan with a curvy, buxom body. I hit the jackpot! Lol.
I'm glad that your son is able to adjust to his physical appearance at an early age, as well. Kids are indeed cruel (I can attest to that from my experiences as a boy, and I didn't have vitligo back then, although I was much shorter than the other kids). With a supportive, loving mom like you, he's going to be a fine young man for sure.

Thanks so much! It's not much but I recently started my own cosplay fan page if you feel like checking it out. It's an expensive and time consuming hobby, but I love doing it and am slowly getting better at it.
My type is pretty broad, but I like dark hair, dark eyes, and dark skin in general. I'm also a fan of bottom heavy people. I like for guys and gals to have big butts, hips, and thighs and some nice muscle thrown in. I'm open, though.
Also, I don't know how much my opinion goes to help, but you look great! No need for insecurity!

I honestly don't have a preference when it comes to women, as I just frigging love women, all races, body types, heights, whatever. I do admit I really like dark hair and pale skin, as I said before. Someone like Dita Von Teese just gets my motor running, but that could also be my love of that 50's pinup model look. Lol.
And I totally have a big butt, that my wife can't keep her hands off of! Lol. And now that I have some muscle, she's really more, uh, hands on...(like I'm complaing...).
Yes, your opinion certainly means a lot, and helps! It's so much easier said than done to shake insecurity, that's for sure, but I've been eating better, working out, and just feeling better about myself all around these past few months! I do have bad days, however, where I feel really down on myself, but those are coming less and less, thankfully!

I've gott en a big boost to my ego as of late. I will give myself a 7, maybe even a 7,5. If IGN would review me I would be 9, nothing spectacular but mostly bugfree.

Also all of the women seem to guess lower than I would rate them and many people seem kind of stuck on things that really does not matter all that much in the bigger picture. You can endlessly list small insecurities about yourself, that most people just don't pay attention to.
Anyhow for myself, 6.5/10 or something. Accepting some leeway since I haven't really done this before.
What I used for realpic, but I'd say it is a more flattering photo than what I would normally have which I would probably rate a bit higher. I have more than enough confidence either way, so it matters little.

I'm trying to grow a beard, but it's just not happening! It's driving me crazy. I blame my black/samoan/native american mix!
It's only been about two weeks, but all I've managed are some sideburns. I have no problems growing my moustache, goatee, and soul patch, but I cannot get the sides for the life of me. I just wanted to try a new look, as I've never attempted to grow a beard before. I think it may be futile. I'll give it another month or two before I call it quits and shave (I still shave around my neck if it gets fuzzy, however; I just leave my sides to grow wild!).
I'm so jealous of beard gaf, and this thread has had some pretty wicked beards. I just want beard gaf to know: I hate you and all your glorious beards.
