Switch to the US marketplace download the app register and switch back if you want.

According to a post on the official forums, the first wave should be getting the update tonight.

These waves will continue over the next few days as we continue to process registration requests from your friends, and for those who haven't yet run the Registration App. We're thrilled about how enthusiastic the community has been around the update preview and we're anxious to get your thoughts and feedback.

One of the most logical follow up questions to this news is: "How do I know if my console is running the update?" If you go into your console's Settings menu, then select System, then Console Info you will see the OS version displayed. The current version that the general public is running will contain "(xb_rel_1402" in the OS version. When your console is updated to the update preview this text will change to contain "(xb_rel_1403".

And it will include a fix for 50 Hz TV.

Customers that have cable, satellite, or TV set top boxes which output 50Hz can now configure Live TV for optimal performance. In order to configure this setting, follow the steps below:

1. Go to Settings

2. Select TV & OneGuide

3. Select Troubleshooting

4. Select Video

5. Select Enable 50Hz to enable this setting.

Please try out this new configuration setting and give us your feedback on your experience.

Just got mine as well. Hopefully they roll the update to us tomorrow. On the forums it says its beginning the roll out tonight so we should have impressions in the next 8 hours.

I tried to redeem the code using my german settings , but i´ve always received an error message.
Then I switched to the US Store and it worked Oo
Why do they send out codes to european people , when it´s only working on the US marketplace?

Please note: As a result of the changes to the Party App in this initial update, party chat, party matchmaking, and party invites will NOT be compatible between Xbox One consoles that are previewing this update and those that are not. Once this one-week preview of the update is completed and the update is released to the general public, party features should work normally between all Xbox One players. Non-party multiplayer and chat are not affected by this, meaning you will still be able matchmake, chat, and play with all Xbox Live players regardless of update status inside of game titles.

I do too, but this update seems focused on parties and chat, that's all they've been talking about when mentioning it. Although I wouldn't mind a few good surprises, I'm not getting my hopes up.
By the way, assuming we can do snapshots and upload them to skyonedrive, is there a way to hotlink an image directly ? The link that is generated points to the skydrive player and not the image itself.

I don't think so, but you could always download it and host it elsewhere.

It would be nice if they'd also integrate twitter and other social services. But I dobt we'll see any of this stuff for some time.

They really should be trying to add as much content and services as possible to lure more people to the platform.

I suppose this update is just a better party system for the glorious Titanfall... and that's all good with me.
