Silver master race, reporting in. Lugia is amazing.
Lugia is amazing, but Gold gets him as the level 70 (almost) final boss instead of a weak ass level 50 mini boss.
I didn't know you could fight Lugia in Gold when I first played, when I got that SIlver Wing I was hyped.
This guy. I loved Silver! I was still in a fever pitch for all things Pokemon when it came out all those eons ago.

Vermillion City's tree cutting antics will always hold a special place in my heart, as that's when I started watching the Stream (probably would have started earlier but my computer was broken for the first couple days). I'm not even sure if it would make it in my top four moments though. Those are probably:
-Being stuck in Rocket's base for days and seeing democracy get implemented, culminating in the Start9 protest
-Digrat digging out after we beat Giovanni
-Anarchy vs. Zapdos
-Venomoth vs. Dragonite

I have two copies of Silver lol. I don't even know where the second one came from, I can't think of anyone that even had it, my friend who I played with had gold.

That final string of battles was bar none the best thing to happen.

We'll I'm gonna pretend that Red got back with all his Pokemon and now they're together forever. Warm happy feelings for all.
So many good moments I was there for. Catching the first Pokemon, the start of item worshipping with the Moonstone, Misty, Dux, Cut, Surge, the ledge, Eevee, buying Fire Stone twice, releasing Abby, the casino chaos, the even bigger HQ chaos, psychic (twice), obviously the Zapdos and the Holocaust. It's been a fun ride.

Mine would be:
-DIG before getting the Silph Scope
-Ledge antics
-Blacking out because Red had no healthy Pokemon
-The decision to get Evee and all the insanity that ensued
These are all great.
I'd add in Digrat's antics after we beat Giovanni for the first time.

3. Beating Giovannin only to dug out before taking Silph Scope
2. ATV killing Dragonite somehow with Poison Powder

Beating Misty after being thrashed countless times by her
Rocket Hideout (including the introduction of Democracy)
The Original Ledge
Fainting the exact step before we could get the key to unlock Blaine's gym
ATV beating Dragonite through attrition
The final thundershock that won us the game
The first 24 hours or so were just special. It was uncharted territory and no one knew what the limits were, like actually being able to catch a Pokemon, how long it would take to go through a road, etc. It took until after Brock before people even started to think about things like the Safari Zone.

Amazing. I got Gastly back to find him at level 50 and easily affordable to get out of the daycare. Less than 3,000 I think. Just think how much easier it would have been if we ditched Lapras for him.

DigRat digging right before getting the Silph Scope, and fainting right before the Secret Key in Cinnabar Mansion were hilarious. Beating Lt. Surge, catching Zapdos, and beating Giovanni at his gym were incredibly intense battles. The ledge and Team Rocket Hideout were crazy difficult. Beating Lance's Dragonite with ATV was a demonstration that we made it to the end, and nothing would stop us. Finally defeating Blue with Zapdos...well that was just sweet victory. Impossible to pick a favorite, for me.
