It really isn't. Look at the pigtail on her right side. It's at a way higher angle there than it is on the prototype. It makes the whole figure look lopsided.

Once you go black, you never go back!

Plus a $150 isn't all that bad for something you really like.

Ha. I think it's partly to do with how uncommon dark-skinned figures are. They're outnumbered like, 250 light-skinned figures for every 1 with a darker complexion. I was actually a little surprised at how fast she got here, even though it was EMS and all. I think I only got my shipping notification a couple days ago.

It doesn't look like she's set the wrong way. In the second pic you can see the platform is molded perfectly to the foot that fits into it. I don't mean to be a negative nelly about Miku, I'm just championing another delay because if this is indeed where she's at right now, and not just a bad pic / wrongly assembled figure, then she obviously needs another month or two in the oven. My biggest issues are the leaning and the fact that the one pigtail is waaaay higher in the air than it should be. Everything else looks great.

She's adorable. She's a cast-off, which I don't have much experience with. I was taking the plastic sheets out, and one was under her top. So I had to take out an arm to undo the bra, and then her head pops off, too. I was surprised. XD

Also her hands, her apron, and way too many things fall off way too easy. Even her head popped off because she's so unsteady on her base and she tipped backwards. Such a terribly designed figure.

The right one is okay but it's just missing -something special- that tips it over to a buy for me.

I paid 4,600 new, and I like her, but like most Phat figures she has QC problems. Her ear is pretty messed up, really sloppy paint application. It looks like a paint bubble popped.

Phat has good sculpts, and prototypes always look good, but the final product always ends up a little disappointing. I'll still buy their stuff, but only on sale. I'll never preorder anything from them again. Which is why I haven't preordered Kirigiri.
