Wow at this trading figure display. I would have never thought to put detolfs on their sides, but it looks like the glass might be bending. Not sure if this is a good idea.

That's just stupid, dear lord I would never do something like that. Looking at the pictures, he has thumbtacks between the detolfs glass to keep them from bending into each other -.-
Nice pictures and setup! It makes me long for the day I can finally setup and display my collection like that.

So anyone got any feedback for Nippon-Yasan? I know that it's in the op and all, but I'd like to get some opinions before I use a new site.

ok, but slow. Like it takes a week to ship out of anything. Their customer service is kinda meh as well. I use them for exclusives and such
They're okay for exclusives, although sometimes they apparently ship out the item without the bonus item [if you opted for that version]. I've never had it happen personally, but a couple on MFC did. Their boxes aren't as sturdy as those from AmiAmi and other similar sites, so it might get damaged some during shipping, especially if you choose the slower option [SAL]. Again, I haven't experienced that either, but then, I use EMS [since they're exclusives and I want them to arrive as safely as possible]. They're also super-slow about shipping out the items. That I have experienced.
I'd advise going with AmiAmi, HS, or HLJ before them, and if you can pay up-front BIJ is amazing [they're who I go with when I'm 100% sure on the pre-order and want to guarantee the item, such as with the Seven Deadly Sins figures]. However, if they have an item you want and don't want to pay right away, they're a decent alternative.
It is. You pay more for it, though, since they tend to use larger boxes [with a lot of packing paper inside], and the heavier/thicker cardboard adds to the shipping cost. It's worth it, though, at least in my personal opinion.
I once saw a picture on MFC of a box from AmiAmi arriving to its customer destroyed, with a hole in the side. However, due to the packing paper and added room inside, none of the items were damaged in the slightest.

They're decent on the service side of things. If you order an in-stock item from them, it'll either ship within two days, or like, five. Their aftermarket prices are balls, though.

They ship super slow. I'm testing their Logistics EU delivery method and it has taken them 10 days until I got the email that says the item is with the delivery company and I should have a tracking number soon.

Depends with them from my experience. Sometimes it's next day or a week after. They also need someone with better English skills for their email CSR. Pretty atrocious experience. I still buy from them cuz they have good prices and they tend to sell stuff that is sold out elsewhere.

Yeah, hell sometimes it can take them up to a whole month, there's always someone whining about it on MFC. There's no telling with these guys, as there's also instances of them shipping out items within a few days like you mentioned. Really hit or miss.
The only good thing about NY is that they under value imo, otherwise I wouldn't bother with them unless they were my only option.

I have actually played it, but I haven't had the time to go through all the routes. But being impatient, I already read through what happens in all of them. haha
I'm so glad for the re-release for the temporary price control, but yeah I have no idea how widespread the re-release is and how that would affect prices. I'm not a very speculative person.
Exactly! It's not like there's nowhere to draw pose inspiration from. Yeah I was disappointed with the pose they picked for Yu's GEM figure. The most movement the figure gets is that slight jacket flutter. Though it's a prize figure, I actually like the pose for this one. If only a figure maker would do that for a regular release.
Also, congrats to everyone in the thread that ordered Tharja! I see we'll be having figure impressions being posted here within the next few weeks. Look forward to seeing them!
I always find it funny that swimsuits are your cutting off point.
It's brown burlap. I was looking for different fabrics with interesting textures, and that's the one that I ended up liking. It's hot glued to some cardboard spray painted black, and held up with some furniture tacks.

Yeah, this. 100 hours my balls... Also, I find that Symphonia Chronicles didn't age as well as I'd hoped. Still fun, but not as amazing as it was for its time.

it's not that good. play an older FE game if you want to get into FE. but yea, finish your other stuff first. it doesnt feel right leaving things unfinished all the time.
