Just impulse ordered God Eater 2 from Nippon Yasan since it doesn't seem to be going to get a localisation any time soon (watch it get announced know that I bought it lol). My first physical game for the Vita, since I've wanted to go all digital :/ haha.

It probably won't be announced until the online patch is out, or they'll just localize the Burst version, whenever that happens. You should be good for now. It's a great game.

Sony should have rebooted the store staff instead of Sony Santa Monica, maybe the team was laid off and that's why the update has not happened yet.

Yeah that's what I figure, I'll probably just end up buying it again if it does get localised anyway haha. Thankfully I can understand a fair bit of Japanese after going to high school there for a year way back when so it shouldn't be too difficult to play anyway.

I'm waiting on that patch or Burst 2. Doesn't matter if it gets localize anymore.

They really should give more PS+ deals on PSone classic. I would buy more for my Vita if they had good deals. Persona 2 EP deal was great.

I think one of the things that makes this super-painful is that SCEA is completely tone-deaf about how their silence is perceived. The aloofness comes across as downright callous, which rubs the super-fans the exact wrong way. I bet when the store post does go up, it won't even have a single word about being late. Just "Hey, here's a great store update! You're sooooooooo lucky!"

Well, they have no reason to believe anyone would perceive them as any less because of whatever. Have you seen the PS blog? I swear it seems like every comment in there is "Oh My God Sony You're So Awesome!" or "Sony You Are The Gift For Mankind" variety no matter what they're saying in the blogs.

I see more indie bashing than Sony praising in most of the comments.

I thought it was okay until I realized the daily challenges never get harder.

Eh, I didn't mind that the difficulty didn't scale. I liked having something to do when I woke up every morning. It just became part of my routine.

What's with this game and barrel?

Any Atelier game has the character shout "Barrel!" if you interact with a barrel in a city. This is also true in any Mana Khemia game.

It might be a long running Gust joke. It's cute nonetheless.

Edit: Still no store update?

So they gonna miss another day, they want people to buy stuff right? Unless they are trying to secure some last minute sale deals(doubtful) what's with SCEA really have to start getting most stuff up by 12:01am Tues that is what people are expecting going forward with digital.

I guess they are outsourcing the maintenance to nippon

Ueda must be handling the work with the guidance of Grace Chen, our Goddess and personal savior

Well, why is it a running joke is the question though.

I like how he waits until now to make the thread. While the store seems to be in the process of updating.
Store is also only 1 day late. Who cares about facts though

Unfortunately the store has been sporadically updating at various times yesterday, last night, and today. I don't see any sign that the actual full update is any closer to pushing - for example Awesomenauts is still listed as the headliner instead of Towerfall (on the main store page in the "Games" section).

I would love Sony to improve consistency in this area and, even better, improve the process. In my perfect world new releases would unlock at midnight on release date with any valid promotional prices applied. I work graveyard so these wishes are purely selfish!

I think it's a valid topic to open up for discussion. The last official update indicated things would be fixed today... with no new info as "today" grinds to an end.

I tried searching for a more relevant location, but I just got a PS4, and the thing gets quite hot on the right side from about 2 inches from the front all the way to the back of the console.

Any other PS4 owners have this happen? It seems to be okay on the menu, and seems to cool down slightly, but it is definitely warmer than my slim PS3 which also could cook up some heat.

It is in an open air cabinet, in the middle section, with an open back/front and left and right sides.

Just want to know if I should just chalk it up to the design or try to send it back to amazon.

I guess this is kind of annoying me because I thought that PSPlus was in part supposed to help fund a better PSN. Ie: a more robust and reliable network that doesn't have stupidly slow download speeds and also ensure that these kind of "oops the store didn't update" hiccups don't happen.

Because they missed one game?

Was more than one game. I watched the EU "new this week" list on the webstore go from 59 items to 89 items to 90 items to 91 items, all hours apart. I didn't track what the items were, but there was clearly some issue getting content out in a reasonable amount of time.

Said game is also more than half a day late; sure it's up, but it's the middle of the night now, and people have been waiting for it since early afternoon. You can't tell me that's a minor issue.

So is it safe to buy a game now and have it fall under the "$10 for $60" promo. I'm very unsure and uneasy about getting screwed over because of this store nonsense.

Sony you've made me feel uneasy about using a service I help pay for now....I don't think you want your customer base to feel that way.

It's safe since purchases end in your transaction history, with date and value.

In the unlikely event you don't get your $10 code later, you can prove you've spent $50+ during the promo period.

Heads up, for everyone considering buying Infamous Second Son digitally for the promo, check this out.

A reputable seller is selling early physical copies of the game on ebay for $58.98.

This is legit. I emailed the seller and he has all copies of the game in hand and they will ship tomorrow.

Also if you use the coupon code: CPNGAMES you will get $5 off your order!

There's like 65 copies left.

But if I buy it through the PS store it's only $50 dollars in the end. And it releases in a week....not far away at all. I don't see the point.

But thanks for telling me I should see this on the live from playstation app very shortly. :)
