In previous promotions there has been a couple cent buffer. I remember I was 5 cents short due to some weird Plus sale pricing and I still got the credit.

Buy a ps3 avatar for $0.49. That's what I did. Pretty sure you need that penny. PEACE.

I'm going to get inFamous and use the $10 on GZ, but just to be clear, this means I won't be able to play GZ on release date right?

I always assumed that the penny didn't matter. This is from a previous, but similar promotion last February.

There's no advertisement about it in the store, and PS blog didn't write about it, I want to ask about the remaining cent, I know it worked before but still. :/

If you are that worried buy a 49 cent avatar or wait till someone asks after the PS store is updated.

I don't know if it's going to count seeing as I didn't see any advertisements for the deal, but I figured now would be as good a time as any to get Stick of Truth.
 
So for some reason I've been seeing people elsewhere say that $59.99 doesn't cut it and that they contacted sony about it.

I've gotten credit back when I purchased things one cent off before, last year I bought PS+ during the spend $50 get $10.

Are people just being crazy or have they changed it this time around to where you need to be exactly >$59.99.

It doesn't matter how or where you got the cash in your PSN account from.
All that matters is to spend $60 by the 18th of March to be viable for the $10 back come late March.

Prepurchased inFamous. Probably going to use the $10 on Ground Zeroes whenever that is available to buy/prebuy. I wasn't planning on being mostly digital on the PS4, but the only disc I have now is Killzone. Crazy.
 
Welp, need to go into GameStop and cancel my Second Sons preorder because I just made my first digital preorder thanks to this deal!

well the deal is thru the 18th so as long as you spend it on that day it SHOULD still count. hope the store updates on time!!

I used prepaid cards and the money was deducted from my wallet. It better count, because that's as complete as transactions get. PEACE.
 
Well that's BS. I don't get the credit for buying Dark Souls II because I preordered it last month? Even though I didn't get the game until the 11th when this promotion started. Guess I'm not ever preordering from them again. Never even got the preorder DLC...
 
Amazon's doing a 'get $10 when you send $50 in gift cards' thing right now (invite-only, apparently), so this is pretty well-timed. I was planning on getting a physical copy of Infamous, but I can't turn down two separate $10 refunds :P

$50 in PSN credit, use the free Amazon $10 to get $10 PSN credit. inFamous sorted.

Then use the Sony's $10 for MGS GZ. So in the end you're only paying $70 for both games, which in UK terms is only £42.10. Buying both games in the UK would be £80.

Any chance I could get an invite on that offer :P.

Just called. They couldn't do anything for me. I spoke to a supervisor too. I got the implication/impression that there was very much so nothing he could do for me to get me qualified for the deal. Which makes sense considering that would require something along the lines of cancelling the pre-order, then getting it refunded, then running it through the store again from my end as a consumer. That was kind of jumbled writing.

There is most likely is no automated process they can initiate to make previous inFamous Second Son pre-orders retroactively apply to the current deal. I did get him to push through my Dustforce Vita refund. Because, at the end of the original refund request conversation I was assured that it would pass judgement and that a month later I was still not notified that my refund request failed.

I did get to have a decent conversation with it and he said he'd file it as a complaint and look into it. Hopefully he's good at his job because I'm not doing digital pre-orders again if this is going to happen again. Then again, if you want, you can try calling and getting your inFamous pre-order cancelled. If you ask for a supervisor it's possible they can process the cancellation and refund immediately and you can re-order the game. I'm $5 short of getting the $10 back so I have little to gain from pursing further action. But if you do those steps, it could work.
 
I just bloody hope it works. Being European it would be a massive hassle to chase up customer services if the $10 doesn't come through.
 
Damn I thought adding cash to wallet counted. I bought towerfall for 11.99 and added 50 bucks in cash yesterday. I don't think I will be able to spend it before the 18th since I want the physical copy of Infamous.
