The fact that you're saying this is worse than Colonial Marines shows how clueless you are regarding this. Colonial Marine's downgrades went far beyond graphical ones and the game was merely a husk of what it originally promised, not to mention many of the things exemplified in the demos were not present in the original game in any way shape or form.
This is not the case in Dark Souls, unless you consider a spider web or the a door severe downgrades. The people making arguments like you are specifically why I think I disagree with the general tone of this "campaign".
Fair enough, while I sure as hell will enjoy playing Dark Souls 2 as soon as I can get it on my PC, I still cant forget what was promised, not only graphical wise but also the torch game play, I know it remains in the game in a minor form, but people that have played the console version have voiced their opinion saying that you dont really need to use it now.
