And Dirk showed a ton of heart tonight. People can't say a thing about this guy not competing and not wanting to win. I'm not even sure if Dallas wins this game without him showing up.

God why can't Kobe always do this. He gets to the board so easy. I don't see why he settles for jumpshots a lot of the time.

Cos he has to conserve energy since he's such a huge part of the scoring. Especially with Pau out..

ugh, those were some disgusting losses against SA and DAL. I don't think they'll be able to make the playoffs anymore. Especially if they keep playing like that. WTF at JAX

The MRI on Roy's hip/groin looks clean. Roy is day-to-day.

Don't count Brandon Roy out for the season just yet.

The results of a magnetic resonance imaging performed on Roy's injured groin are in and they are positive: The All-Star guard has a strain, not a tear, and likely will do some running later in the week to gauge his progress and determine when -- and if -- he might return this season.

"He's listed as day-to-day, so that's good news," McMillan said. "Basically, when he feels good enough to start running and moving around and trying to get back to the floor, we'll know more. I don't expect (him) to do anything tomorrow ... but we'll see if he can do some running in our two (off) days and that will give us a better idea."

OUTLAW JUST POSTERIZED GASOL.

HOW YOU LIKE THAT PEW PEW BITCHES?

Why not rest for the remainder of the season? There's just like 6 games left.

7 but Roy is a competitor and Nate wants Roy to have the experience of competing against playoff teams down the stretch. It will help them next season when they push for the playoffs. They aren't that far off.

I know they aren't, but he is their main guy. Why risk anything else?

It's not a serious injury? There was no tear, no ligament damage.

Because reffing in the NBA is extremely inconsistent. He can only play like this when the refs are calling a tight game.

A lot of his 7-25 shooting nights are when he tries to play like this, but the refs are allowing extremely physical play. That also leads to a lot of his technicals, because he thinks he was fouled (and oftentimes he was, but the refs aren't calling it).

Also, when the refs allow physical defense and don't call fouls, it tends to really favor fast break teams, but no one seems to realize that.

This is why you don't play Sergio extended minutes. Since his nice stretch in the first half, he has done absolutely NOTHING.

Sure seems that way, then again Portland hasn't been shooting well for a while now (except for Outlaw doing his crazy shit)

Yep. Sergio is supposed to be the one that creates easy opportunities for the rest of the players, but he has done none of that in the second half.

What's Outlaw's contract like? Would be nice to have a guy like that starting at SF...

First year in a 3-year $12mil contract. Yeah, suck on that Luke!

Portland's not giving him up.

Luke and Vlad making 30 mil plus. Horrible..

Literally not a single team pursuit Outlaw in the off-season. He pretty much wanted to be in Portland and re-signed with the Blazers.

Btw, he turns 24 in September :lol
