Eh, once their page generates my code I've always been able to redeem it right away. Sometimes the code takes some time to be generated, tho.

I thought Jak 1 was the worst of the bunch (performance-wise). It hasn't frame dips but basically runs at no more than 20 fps and has an input lag on second input (double jump, uppercut etc.).

Jak 2/3 don't have input lag but have a shitty button mapping on touchpad instead.

Jak 3 is 30 fps with frequent dips, Jak II is 30 fps as well, with dips in the city, but stable in the outer levels (with exceptions like the mission where you have to get atop the Baron's Palace
 
I can never remember if you can buy things (MGS V:GS) with your US PS+ account from the US Store, download and play on your UK based machine or not. I feel like you can.
 
Is anyone aware of any deals going on from 12 months of PSN+?

I am based in NZ but want to renew by US sub for use on the PS3, Vita and PS4. My sub expired 2 months ago and now that I am getting a PS4 I wanted to renew it.

Just came home from the mall and got my copies of Final Fantasy x and x-2. They are sold out pretty fast in just an afternoon. They are in English dub and subs. They are priced at 1150php (~25 usd) each. The initial premium is a Lightning dress sphere. A store here broke the release date, I think which resulted in a frenzy rush to get copies of the game. The situation here looks pretty similar to the thirst for Toukiden and shows that there are many hidden Vitabros near me. Time to organize a Vita party. The near app now shows 100+ users near me, which is double the usual for my location.

Anyone wants a r3 dlc code for the yuna summoner's dress for Lightning returns? I have one in excess since I bought the two Final fantasies.
 
Any Pinoy PS4 owners out there?

I'm trying to decide on an ISP, right now I have both Skycable and PLDT (both 10mbps plans). I've had PLDT for a year and just moved, figured I'd switch to Skycable since its cheaper and they offer faster speeds (unless you get PLDT Fibr which I can't since I'm not in a Fibr village).

Here's my issue:

When I connect the PS4 to Skycable and do a speedtest, it reads 5-6Mbps, which is acceptable enough all considered. However, in practice (watching Netflix, YouTube etc), it stutters a lot. Also, when I just tried to download the 4GB MGS:GZ file, it gave me a download time of 12 hours.

When I connect the PS4 via PLDT and do a speedtest, I get 900kbps-1.5Mbps, which seems terrible... except that streaming Netflix and YouTube generally works almost flawlessly. My download time for MGS has gone down to 5 hours.

I suppose I'm just trying to get a sense of folk's experiences with ISP's and PSN.

Wish PLDT would get a move on and expand their Fibr network faster.

Hello there fellow Filipino! Let me share my experience with my ISP and thoughts with the ISP you've said.

I don't have a PS4 yet but I have a PS3 (loaned from a relative) which is connected to Globe DSL. I can download games with it but I have to pause it before I reach my DL limit. That is also the reason why I still don't want a PS4 since I can't "pause" my download.
Globe has a strict 10gb per day DL/UP(total 90gb per month) cap but I really reach my 3mbps top speed (320KB/s, sometimes it reaches 350KB/s). PLDT does not have bandwidth caps for now and I think they are still not implementing it since Globe is currently facing a mass exodus due to their forced implementation of bandwidth caps. They want to be seen as the alternative. Beware however of taking their "Bro" plans since those have a strict 15GB per month cap. I don't trust PLDT that much since they practically implemented that 15gb per month cap without notice which made us move to Globe. At least here I know what the limits for my Internet connection already, and I am not left in the dark with a lengthy contract.

Meanwhile Skycable I think just removed their 15GB monthly cap so they might still have problems implementing it.

Do not use Youtube, or Netflix, as a metric for judging connection on specific networks (PSN, game servers, etc).

Local ISPs may cache streams (esp. viral/popular ones). So instead of the data stream going from Youtube to your home, it's really just local ISP to your home.

Also, is the MGS download time actual hours?
 
They will do something stupid as usual and release it the week after SSDelta, game will sell like shiq and they won't release games anymore.

Just like they launched a bunch of first party games on the launch day, followed by a 3 months void, then released 2 more first party game in less than 15 days.
Or like they launched Tearaway the same day Zelda and Mario released, or like they launched Killzone the same day GTAV released (then luckily pushed a week forward)

That's true, but I notice an across the board performance boost on the PLDT connection. It's just frustrating because I'd like to be able to switch to Skycable.

You forgot that Tearaway launched the same day the Xbox One did. That Uncharted Golden Abyss was released 3 months after 3 (both at the same month in Japan). That Assassin's Creed Liberation launched the same month as III (it should have been later) instead of 6 months later. That they released a shitty Call of Duty game and bundled it like there was no tomorrow.

I love my Vita, but the guy(s) that schedule retail releases are really stupid. Vita wouldn't have had that "no games" stigma if they had been smarter with release dates.

There's been no big release dates for Vita this year, Tearaway would have been a great January title.

Nice, Enjoy your stay on our hot country. I'm currently dripping buckets of sweat due to our climate.
PLDT seems to be the best ISP for you, but beware of them since they usually just implement their rules without warning. Just don't get the wireless internet connection plans here since those are the ones with the lowest bandwidth caps. LTE connections here sucks anyway so go for the DSL connection now and move to the supposedly faster but more strictly bandwidth capped plans later like me. Skycable has a internet + IPTV (or is it TV only) bundle right now so that might be tempting.
EDIT: You can join the unofficial Philippines Playstation group in FB, CLICK ME!. There are several PS4 users there and I think they assist you better in your problem since they also have PS4s. Don't worry that group is Bilingual(English/Filipino) in nature so you won't be left out of the discussions there. You generally also won't have a problem getting your favorite games on any platform since our local stores here import practically everything, including Japanese games. As long as it does not have pornographic content.

AC/COD aren't first party, what really bothers me is the fact the Sony itself treats Vita software like shiq.

Yeah, I forgot about Uncharted and Xbox One release date, they really should be ashamed.

I just can't understand how yosp(WWS President) gets praised while Shahid gets shat.
As a Vita owner, at the moment I'm much more thankful for the latter.

Yosp got me Ore no Shikabane wo Koeteyuke. And has answered to my tweet once (which was just a random rant).

There's nothing really bad about Shahid. Except that he hypes his home-cooked pasta as if it was done by a world-renowned chef.

I don't really play much indies, since not much interest me. Except TxK. And that ain't available in JP PSN. T___T

Ahhhhhh, shoot! I installed the 1.62 system update ,that was d/loaded to my PS4, and now my LAN and WiFi are no longer working. Went into safe mode and I'm still having no luck. How odd.

EDIT: Hmmm, I guess my timing just must be bad this morning. I had just d/loaded MGS V:GZ and then installed the system update and then I guess the network went into it's Tuesday maintenance (or so the customer service rep. told me). Since I am unable to log-in with the PS4, PS3, or Vita, then that must be the issue. I've never experienced this before, so my apologies if this an known Tuesday occurrence.

If you spend some of it to reach $60 in purchases, sure. But they won't help if you let it sitting there.

Go to SonyEntertainmentnetwork.com log into your account.
Go to Transaction history, and set it to 11 mar til 18 mar
Count up your total spendings. If they exceed $60 you count towards it.

If you've only spent $56 so far, you need to spend aroun $5 extra.

Idea Factory is looking to bring Amnesia V, an otome game with a heroine that loses her memories when the game, overseas. The publisher is looking for licensing partners for the game.

Also on deck to be licensed is Moero Chronicle, the dungeon RPG sequel to Monster Monpiece which isn’t even out in Japan yet. Both games are for PlayStation Vita.

Well, Sony still paid Ubisoft and Activision for those games. I think I read they give them some millions for marketing money.

Call of Duty bundles are Sony's fault though AssCreed could be blamed to Ubi xD

Mmmm... yesterday Lumines save me. I had a really shitty day and playing that game for 60-90 minutes made me relax a lot. I slept like a baby.

That thing is NEVER going to leave my memory card XD

Anyone else having issues with the PlayStation iOS app? I get timeouts all the time. This was already the case for me last week, but on the weekend it was fine for one day.
 
I need to come up with another game to reach $60. Getting FF X/X-2 HD, Steamworld and was thinking Strider. Just cannot decide if I want PS3 or PS4.
