Just completed Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery Episode 1.
It's pretty much your typical 1$ adventure-puzzle game you can find in the dozens on phones. Nothing special when it comes to pretty much everything. Don't really regret it since it cost me 1euro for a little less than 4 hours, but still I'm pretty sure every vita owner has a huge backlog already with much, much better games.
I would probably buy the second episode if it ever releases but not for more than 1$.

What would be the point of doing only partial translation ?
If chinese is needed to understand story why even bother with doing only menus in english ?

I know Dustforce is great (even though the Vita version has bad frame rate problems
), but what abut TxK, Fez, and Steamworld Dig? I know Steamworld Dig is good from the gameplay I saw of it online and am interested in Fez, but I don't know if TxK is good or not.
Any advice on those games would be great Gaf

TxK is amazing but it's hard as crap. I love it but then I love Tempest and Minter.
It was made just for the Vita and it's glorious
YMMV depending on your taste for arcade games and Minter's design sensibilities
Never played Dynasty Warriors, but from what I've saw of its games via reviews, they are hack and slashers where you kill waves and wave of foes in large scale battles as an General/Commander. You also play as real Japanese/Chinese warriors (though just 'loosely' based on the real people) and have many characters to play as.
I know the Vita one is great (interestingly enough one of the more graphically impressive games on Vita) but I'm sure Gaffers how love the series could give you a better opinion on the series

TxK isn't good.
It's fantastic.
Another two newly released indies are Surge Deluxe and Luftrausers, I haven't played them personally but I heard good things from gaf.
A couple of levels aside it wasn't that hard. 100%ifying it it's another story, and according to PSNProfiles no one did it yet :O

Minecraft is taking a goddamn age to come out on Vita. I wonder if once they've got the TU14 out of the way for PS3/360 we might hear more news on XBone/PS4/Vita. Though the Vita version is the only one they haven't posted an in-dev screenshot for yet, so I fear it's low priority ;\

What does dynasty warrior 8xl add from 8? I own dw8, love it, but there's a lot of content in 8 already and I haven't even beaten all the campaign yet.
If Terraria, Fez and Borderlands 2 made it, Minecraft might just as well.
So many close call vaporware...

I am in the US with a US playstation account. This will not be a problem will it?
Also, I know that the slim should be announced soon (?) for north America. Any word on when that is expected and what colors will be coming? (just trying to weigh my options)

If you ask me FEZ is in a different league than Steamworld Dig. They're both great games, but FEZ is a modern masterpiece

Voice acting was amazing and graphics were nice, yes. It's not like the writing was anything special though and the puzzles were pretty mediocre. I feel like not being better where it matters to me (writing and puzzles since it's an adventure game) made my overall opinion a little harsh.
Got Steamworld Dig, and now it's right in the backlog
If a Vitagod does exist, I hope he'll help us finishing our huge backlogs
Are you praying for less Vita games or more spare time?

You have to redeem it by the 31st. Doesn't matter when you actually spend it once it has been redeemed
