PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | March 2014

It seems a few people had problems with the updates, so others are posting their specs to see if there's any correlation. I think, anyways.

So far around 4 or so posters in this forum with 32GB cards have had problems with the Vita update and their 32GB memory card. So far the symptoms are that after updating they can't boot up their Vita (even into safe mode) with the 32GB memory card, but without that 32GB mem card (without a mem card at all or with a different one) the Vita will boot up just fine.

One poster above said that PSMobile games are now maybe getting seen by the Vita memory manager as being as much as 10x the true size?

I wonder if that is what is going on - perhaps the GAFfers having the problems with the 32GB mem cards have a lot of PSMobile games, were short on free memory, and now the Vita is freaking out when trying to come up because it thinks it has no free memory?

I also wonder if this is related to just the 32GB card or if that is simply the most popular mem card in use (we don't know yet if this problem is just for 32GB card owners or just coincidence that the ones having problems are using 32GB cards).

So far only some of the folks with 32GB cards are having problems - most are not having problems even if they do have a 32GB card.

Hope that helps to sum it all up...

If I knew BlazBlue CP was going to be $40 digitally for Plus users, I would have bought it digitally. Oh well, I should have the game by tomorrow.

Pretty sure you can download it directly thru the Vita?

If you search for it on Vita, it comes up, but with no download link.

And just going through the store itself doesn't have it available on the PSP games list.

Can anyone confirm if they're able to get it off their Download history after buying through online store, or if it's PS3 transfer only?

Bought Luftrausers to celebrate the update...

I ordered a 32gb Vita memory card from Amazon UK on Christmas Day (exactly 3 months ago) for £40 and it still hasn't been sent to me. They're saying that they've no stock and will let me know when it'll be sent out. I get an email from them once a month saying that...

Anyway, I looked on eBay and I found a seller in Hong Kong selling one for £44. Listing is here.

I'm just curious, is this legit? I've never bought memory cards on eBay and I dunno if it's a knock-off or anything. Are there knock-offs of Vita memory cards? I'll go for this if it's above board, as 3 months is a ridiculous time to wait for an order and £4 is nothing really.

Aren't 64Gb ones only a little more?

did you call or just use chat?
I called and the call lasted like 7 minutes. I didn't even have to say much. The only info I gave her was my email and the issue I had. She said she took care of it and the money would either be in my wallet or through an email in 1-2 business days.

You could probably do it faster through the chat tbh.

Gurumin isn't available for purchase/download on the Vita store. I don't have a PS3.
Dreams obliterated.

Buy a PS3.
Living the dream.

Ugh. I'll buy it in the store, just to have in my library, but I'll never play this game. I generally don't do 2D games anymore, with the exception of Everyday Shooter. I hope it's something else. PEACE.

It's not going to be, in NA at least.
Mercenary Kings has potential, for sure.

I bought Gurumin via the webstore, and it let me download it to my Vita via the Download Queue option.

Not sure if it worked (Vita is at home, and I am not) but it appears to have worked...

I still got 10 bucks on my PSN wallet and I want to buy something for my vita, what could it be?

What is this about Gurumin?

PS: It's one of the PSP's best games and one of Falcom's shining hidden gems before they became The Kiseki Company.

Is Blazblue good for only single player purposes? Does the story mode take a while to finish?

Its a fighting game so be honest with yourself and realize that isnt where 90% of the games appeal is.

That said, compared to others Blazblue (this newest one) does seem to have a good amount of content for single player. Story mode is not an rpg, it will last a good few hours and is presented in a visual novel style, with fights of course because its a fighting game. The writing in the past games has always been good and the joke paths were always entertaining. Outside that there are challenge modes (command trials, a survival mode, and a super hard version of the characters mode) and arcade mode. Theres a lot to mess around with all things considered for a fighting game.

I can't get Destiny of Spirits to download. The download kept stopping at first and now it's stuck at 169MB. Maybe I'll try it on PS3 and transfer it.

is that Gurumin game a zelda clone?

Also have launch 3G unit with 32gb card. Hope all goes well when I upgrade later.
Sure, it works fine.

I expected something else with new manager options, there's not many differences on Vita games.

Please people request Vita multi accounts support on PSBlog :D :D

Pretty sure this happened to me in beta and it eventually continued after leaving it alone for an hour.

Postin to say finally, I can play Destiny of Spirits again. Already got three trophies too. Sweet.

My Vita is alive again with FFX HD, Destiny of Spirits and Dynasty Warriors 8 XL. May even get that Miku game cause that demo was kinda fun.

Downloading Destiny or spirits, Hulu+ and Conception II demo.

This is a good week for Vita.

Now I can watch Kill La Kill on my vita!
