So where is the Chaos storm boss nuke spell again? Somewhere in Iron keep, correct?

Yeah the back room with all the platforms. On a long lava bed. Climb up the ladder. Equip cats ring. Roll through pots drop off then go grab it quickly. There is a fire seed close as well.

Is the defender greatsword as good as it sounds? Is it worth it over a lightning claymore +10?

I went from a lightning claymore +10 to a lightning defender +5....Yeah, it's very worth it.

Had to respec to put 55 Faith (Sun Spear) and my damage per second is way up.

Swings faster and requires less stamina resulting in an extra swing.

You guys are either lieing or just stupidly lucky. I've depopulated the entire fucking level and not a single drop. This is with +item discovery and a coin. Theres other way around it. Theres no fucking way it can be this rare.

I think I'm gonna join the final covenant and learn the last gesture before I finish the game. I need to play some other games that came out recently.

Went to the D
ragon
Me
mories
area. Might have overtaken Heide's Tower of Flame as my favorite area in the game. Just wish that there was more to do there.

Also respecced myself for the first time. Got the Crypt Blacksword and thought I might as well go for some hexes and miracles then, for which I picked up the silly Disk Chime shield thingie. Seems like a good one for throwing lightning spears around.

Yeah, Gutter is just utter fucking bullshit. It's just plain not fun to play.

That's where I stopped last time I played on Tuesday. First order of business was just lighting as many torches as I could. I wasn't too concerned with progressing beyond that. Didn't seem *that* bad an area just yet.

Took down
Vendrick
, once I really learned his moves it wasn't too hard. He still hits like an absolute truck though.

Now time to figure out some of the other achievements and move onto NG+.

So decided to get a few things ftom NPCs before moving into NG+.

Needless to say, my sin cost to be forgivin is 190000 souls. Gah damnit, need to do soul farming now before moving on so I dont get constantly invaded.

Was there anything to do there besides
interact with the dead dragon
?

Was it worth it? Not sure if I should go on a killing spree or not before I press the button.

Enjoy the scenery? Nothing else useful, no.

So, does anyone on xbox have one for trade? I've asked everywhere, and nobody wants to drop one. I doubt anyone plays on the xbox here, but, it's worth a shot. Please post your GT, I really want one.

I've fought against a few people in PvP that had a sword that sent out shockwaves/laser blasts as an attack. Does anybody know what sword that is?

Also, do only invasion victories count toward the
Brotherhood of Blood
covenant of you're a member I the covenant when you invade? I assume so.

I had been waiting the entire game for a katana so as soon as I found the ember I went and bought an Uchigatana from McDuff and took it to +10. First enemy I killed in Iron Keep after that gave me a Blacksteel Katana... lol

I ended up with two BK's but I don't use either, just sticking with my Dark Uchi +10 and Murakumo +8 for now.

was doing drangleic castle for the first time, and was having trouble in the room with 5 sentinels in it (I kept dying on the last one due to something stupid) got worked down to half hp so I used an effigy. saw a sign and summoned him.

we cleared the room and were going upstairs passed the acid pit and all that... and someone invaded. exciting, because, really, invasions are so rare.

I've been sitting on an item for a while now just waiting for this situation to pop up -- being invaded while partnering with a white. I put on my white ring which makes me look like a white phantom.

greatness ensues.

Guess I'm lucky, I've gotten one on three playthroughs so far. Haven't used it yet though.

I only started noticing a big difference at 100+ agility (around 30 ADP). Estus drinking is way faster, and I'm evading hits more easily. It definitely matters.

21+ points though, man? You really think having those 21+ points in VIG for example wouldn't be better than an extra iframe or two? Or 21+ more points into STR & DEX (or VIT or END, whatever)?

I took ADP all the way to 38 on a build and am now using a build with no added ADP and not seeing jack for difference. If the difference is there (and it's hilarious that it's even a question if it does anything, let alone something important) it's so slight as to in no way warrant spending the souls on it over something else.

NO, NO, NO to ADP.

haha, what happened? Did the invader try to search you the "host" out, or just attacked you two "summoners" (as appeared to him)

I really want to get a White Ring. That be fun to try out.

Probably not. I did get am achievment out of it though for one of them.

Only weapon I really want is the black dragon sword. Which only one enemy drops in the bloody game. I have a really difficult time enjoying any weapon with a long attack animation. So going after the npcs was pointless for me >.>

There's curse resistance on armor/rings, but the best plan is to just stay away from the curse pots or break them as soon as you see them. Try to fight the lions in open areas so you don't accidentally back into one of the pots and get cursed. And breaking them doesn't give you curse status like poison pots, so feel free if you haven't been.

Thanks mate I was wrongly afraid of those pots. I just rushed to the fog boss door, became human and summoned people to help me. A guy came and wrecked
her CQC-style with a hammer
, dayum.

Was the first ring I got. Don't even remember where I got it, or who gave it to me.

Need to try using it... :)

I'm really getting tired of that threshold/explosion ring that people are using

it's getting old, especially when they use it to get the upper hand after losing most of the duel

I've seen this asked a lot but never answered. If you imbue a bow with poison does that make arrows poisonous? I killed the only NPC that sells poison arrows.

Going from 20 to 40 VGR adds 400 HP. You can easily take that much damage or more in a single hit if you get hit during a dodge roll. So if it adds up to even one less hit taken, it's well worth it.

Now how much those added iframes help out is going to depend on your playstyle. If you can get by blocking our dodging out of attacks, the extra iframes are probably unneeded. But for some builds, you have to dodge into attacks to have a chance to attack, and for that you want all the iframes you can get. Especially since certain attacks have variable delays and long Windows where they can damage you.

I've only fought against two people who used it and it's just a matter of hitting a few times and dodging out. There's enough warning if you're careful.
