Fighting Games Weekly | March 30 - April 6 | High Speed Korean Downloads

Streams encompass a tiny fraction of what happens at a major, and the events are geared toward the people actually attending to begin with. A lot of hard work is made into putting out quality streams, but it's not something you judge events by.

As Bill Gates' son I"m in it for the hype hype hype

Gundam tier list is irrelevant in GBF for the most part. Pilot skill and builder skill/ingenuity is far more important.

That guy who was fighting Maijin right before the finals was absurdly strong but had a rusty old Gundam. He scrapped the floor with Maoh.

I would say combination of skill as a pilot and skill as a builder is what is OP... not the Gundam itself. If they had put Maoh and Maijin or Aila together they would've rivaled Reiji/Iori combo easily. And of course we cannot forget the LOVE for GUNPLA which is the most important element in succeeding... just like you can't get "in the zone" in Kuroko no Basketball if you don't love Basketball.

Unless something strange happens. The prior games all did. Only question is PS3 or PS4. It's probably at least a year and a half away from console release.
Welp. I hope it comes to PS4, if it does come to consoles.

EDIT: Or PC, but that's super unlikely.

Did I just read Dahbomb hating on F91? You are dead to me.

But seriously, my list is made with pilot/suit combo in mind, like any proper Gundam fan.

yea definitely skill comes into play b/c anything in reiji's/aila's/meijin's hands can be considered top tier, but in terms of skills the gundams have only as the deciding factor, I think a tier list can be made

Mayo is the base of canes sauce, remoulade, and tartar sauce.

These sauces have sub-human inner souls I guess, hehe.

precisely why they are b

the mayo base creates them and holds them back...

i guess my thing is with mayo SOLO...i just dont see how some ppl do it

If I'm not mistaken, it looks like NA BBCP players get spoiled with having the old stages/BGM and Famitsu/Dengeki colors directly on the store. No having to buy insanely expensive blu rays.

I want some of Mr. Arcade UFO's mayo.

This thread has reached its lewdness climax.

If I made a pilot tier list in GBF it'd go something like

old men > Yuuki >= Aila(Embody) = meijin guy > Reiji > Fellini = Renato Bros. > Aila(non-Embody) = Niels > everybody else

Yuuki put away a lot of killers that I think would only lose to Sei/Reiji via plot hax or Build Knuckle(or both). A lot of characters had killshots on the Star Build Strike that they passed on due to plot.

Reiji is a mass of raw potential, but he's not attentive enough and he's too naive, which is why the Sei/Reiji combo was so busted.

Builder tier list is probably...

Sei >= old men > PPSE = Niels >= Mao > Renato Bros. = Fellini > everyone else

The international Gunpla committee should probably just straight-up ban any Gunpla Sei seriously makes, lol.

Niels makes it over Mao for his particle tech being absurd, but Mao could get there.

Also this is totally a fighting game thread. Uhh I've dabbled with Full Boost a little bit, but I haven't made my way into the subthread for that. So far I kinda like that mech with the twin shoulder missile cannons, I think it's from Stardust Memory. I also like Haman Karn's Quebley, just because if someone ignores me I can tear up their suit without really knowing wtf I'm doing. :lol

the problem with relish is that it's usually sweet relish which is gross. pickles are only good when they're sour.

ketchup only gets a pass when on a cheeseburger. if you put ketchup on your hot dogs i'm gonna kick you in the throat.

mayo is great in moderation, but only in moderation.

mustard is never not good, not ever anything short of tasty.

everything else is made up.

Yup, the only good thing they did imo. The terumi thing is still insanely stupid though.

No way is Aila (Embody) less than or equal to Yuuki. She is definitely god tier and would beat the old men too. Even without the Embody she is just slightly less than Reiji who is just slightly less than Yuuki.

If Aila didn't have the feels for Reiji (plus the gem) she would've won the tournament absolutely free. She is able to see pilot movement before they do something and Yuuki didn't have a particle overload move to beat her like Iori did (and Iori was only able to get into that position because Aila held back).

I think I agree with the Builder tier list though. I think Yuuki is at least Fellini tier in the building skill department.

That NCR exhibition for Friday sounds godlike. It's called Final Boss and will feature ST, AE, 3rd Strike and CvS2.

@SDRCAST: Final Boss: NCR event ft SF4, ST, 3S, CvS2. 8 players go in @JohnChoiBoy @HelloKittyRicky @AlexValleSF4 @TheComboFiend @nycfurby and more!

Just catching up with some of the Hypespotting tourney. Great to see OMH going big. Pulled some crazy stuff I've never seen before.

There was never an opportunity for Aila to play at 100% and have access to Embody at the same time, but I agree that if that happened she would be unstoppable.

The Aila that used Embody more or less behaves like a machine. I expect old men or Yuuki to be capable of cornering her using deduction tech like in the Renato bros. fight. I don't think Yuuki would figure out the method behind her 'futuresight' but he'd be able to narrow the results down to the point where he could take Nemesis!Aila out. Yuuki's prep and on-the-fly tactics don't have any clear rival in the show
which made all his final fights kind of disappointing since the script locked that out
.

I don't know where Yuuki ends and PPSE begins with his mechs, which is why he isn't on my list. It was just easier to go with what I knew PPSE was responsible for. But you're probably right, he's definitely at Fellini's level at least.

They never really explained why Aila can see Plavsky particles; guess they have to leave plot hooks for a potential sequel.

also shes super cute

One of these days I'll get around to watching Build Fighters. Stuff sounds amazing.

Well, I got BlazBlue CP now, so I can get more practice with characters before Thursdays when I head to the fighting game club at campus. I'm amazed at how much my interest in this series has grown over the last month from playing with those guys.

Has anyone else been getting weird e-mail validation errors from Twitch all of a sudden? For some reason they keep saying my current address isn't valid.

Can you imagine what would happen if Bamco made a line of NFC-tagged Gunpla parts that you could make into a custom mech, and then use it to play in a Gundam EXVS-esque game?

I can imagine...myself going broke, lol.

You can't prep against an opponent that can read your moves ahead of time.

Your logic would work if Aila was an AI but she isn't... she is still a person capable of adapting and deduction. Whatever Yuuki tries Aila will see in advance and counter it. Since Aila didn't have the hots for Yuuki she would've destroyed him.

The only way this would've gone any other way was if the Trans Am system prevented Aila from properly predicting his movements... which could be likely but it's never mentioned so we will never know how that match up would've gone. I am sure if those two met in the semi finals, Yuuki would've won due to plot reasons.

People will quickly figure out the broken stuff, post it online and everyone will just X copy it.

This is how the real world works. And when that happen people will complain about "pay to win".

"Oh noes he spend $100 on the OP Build Strike Gundam!!!"

You'll get that error if Twitch tries to send you an email notification and it bounces back (because they're getting caught up in spam filters). I know it was an issue several times for my email account, as I could see the spam filter rejecting their email. :p When you're sending out a MILLION emails at once every time a LoL LCS broadcast starts, you may run into problems.

I'm thinking of stuff like indirect attacks, attacks that pose no immediate threat but make the area extremely disadvantageous, etc.

Aila is only reading and interpreting particles. She has some computer assistance but she herself is not a Coordinator or anything. She isn't going to see a long-time pending event all the way to its hypothetical conclusion and react to the entire thing in real time. It should be possible for her to get caught by a clever enough setup, and if all her possible futures become disadvantageous then seeing the future means a lot less.

That would only really be the case if shit was random insert. If it wasn't random there'd be no variation in the prices and then anyone can buy any part they want.
