I don't know, I really do like her, though. And she's from lAter, so she certainly won't be out in September.
9.4k with an 18% discount, though. Looks like my 12k guess was on the money.
Yeah, it's just...I'm sure there will be other figures being released around that same time, of characters/series that I've yet to own. Since I've decided to cut back, I'm not sure if I need another Asuka in my collection, despite how incredible she looks.
I won't be pre-ordering right away, but I haven't written her off completely yet. I'll see the month looks when it draws near and decide then. I can't see her selling out for at least a month or two [maybe three], especially if she's delayed a couple times [which I'm sure she will be].
Figma Akagi is up at Amiami, 4050¥. She looks good, though not as interesting as Shimakaze. I love that bow and arrow however. Ordered.

I'll admit, I put in an order, but I'm operating under the assumption that she won't make September. [She won't] The price would normally scare me away, but Evangelion was the first anime that I really loved. And this Asuka got dat ass. Now I need a good Misato figure, and a gorgeous and (at least somewhat affordable) Mari.
BTW, I unboxed Risty today and she's beautiful. A bit of a pain in the ass to assemble, but she's great. I can't close up her top though. The two ends won't meet around back (she got too much LIFE up front). But it looks fine regardless. Her nips are all covered.

That is one amazing Asuka figure! Insta-preorder. Can't have too many Asuka figures, especially ones this good
. And speaking of Eva, I wouldn't mind getting a decent figure of Rei in her 3.0 plug suit. Going to have to see if there's anything out there I like. Or perhaps a Mari figure since I don't have any of her.

I need a Rei and a Mari. I'm probably going to buy Koto's 1/6 Rei next time she pops up on AmiAmi pre-owned. But as for Mari, I dunno which one to get... hopefully Koto will make a 1/6 of her as well to complete the set. But someone really needs to make a good Misato figure. I don't think one exists.

Yeah, figures like that are fine for the bottom shelf, but they're not my preferred poses. This is the one I wanna get. She's the companion to Koto's more recent 1/6 Asuka and she pops up on AmiAmi pre-owned from time to time.

The best Mari is the Max Factory one and Yamato one.
The MF version also has Asuka, and both are stunning. Shame Chieri never made a Rei to go with both of them

If Kotobukiya does a 3.0 Rei I'll probably get that as well. I have this one, and she's one of my favorites. Might get the matching Mari at some point if nothing else.

Yeah, that's pretty much why I haven't gotten that one. Might look at some convention dealer's rooms this summer to see if I can get a look at her in person.
