Rosalina's is probably my least favorite, but I loved all the rest.

There's no reason for Sakurai to lie about the titles being finalized. In Japan, Melee is called DX and Brawl is called X. These new games' titles are just as uninspired as those. Considering the Wii U and 3DS games contain different content, Sakurai probably didn't want them to share a title.

And for what it's worth, when Nintendo talks about a game with a working title in their Direct, they have a disclaimer (Hyrule Warriors, for example). Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U has never been shown with that disclaimer.

Anybody talking about a Smash Bros character just comes off as bitter, and is inevitably one of the tinfoil hat gang who think that Rosalina/Lightning/Lucario were all worked on in favor of Ridley/K.Rool/Waluigi. It isn't how it works, at all.

I can lament that Snake is a part of the roster... it doesn't make much sense. But is it the worst addition to any roster ever? No, probably not.

If you asked me before Brawl was revealed what my least favourite characters were i would have said Snake, Sonic, Crash Bandicoot and Rayman and then they stick two of them in my favourite game of all time.

I just look at the entire roster as a Mr. Sakurai decision. I want whoever I want as much as I want but it isn't going to influence the one calling the shots.

As much as a want Magnus or a Golden Sun character or even someone representative of MonolithSoft I'll have to take what I can get. And if Ganondorf is a playable character again...what more can I really ask for?

Why would you say that? Animal Crossing sells more than well enough to have multiple characters especially if series like Mother and Star Fox get multiple characters.

Not that I wouldn't mind Nook, but most of what his moveset could be has been taken by the Villager....sans possibly the fishing rod (or the pitfall if that's fair game).
