List of every PS4 game announced for 2014 so far – 100+ and growing (PS blog)

Higher prices, like Free?

Or sometimes a free portable version to go with it?

Or in the case of simultaneous launches, a slightly lower price with the + discount?

You are using your gaming habits as justifications for your arguments "I don't own a Vita though!" While dismissing everyone else's. Surely you've noticed this?

Rentals are free now?
And I'm not dismissing anyones justifications for preferring the Playstation ecosystem. If you prefer the PS4 gaming library over PC than fine. All what I said is that PS4 isn't compelling for me, based on the games presented. For you it is. Everything is fine.

Since amazon.ca has finally been getting in a seemingly steady stream of stock , I've been trying to give myself a reason to buy a PS4 but I was finding it hard to find any exclusive games that I cared about.

This list came at a good time because it reinforced just how many games I wouldn't mind playing at least. * denotes a title I will buy for sure

PS4 games 2013 that I'd like to play/own-
*Resogun
killzone shadowfall
Knack
Asscreed black flag
2014 out now-
lego movie
tomb raider
strider
mgsv ground zeroes
infamous
2014 spring-
guacamelee!
watch dogs
ffxiv
2014 summer-
*destiny
the evil within
2014 fall-
evolve
hyper light drifter

2014 TBA-
assault android cactus
batman arkham knight
#driveclub
dynasty warriors 8 xtreme
the order
shantae
transistor

I'm assuming E3 this year will double the size of this list and add in at least a couple more must buys. Another issue is the PC side of things. Once again I'm faced with the dilemma of where to play my games. It's honestly looking like I could wait a few more months though.

Day 1 for me:

Batman: Arkham Knight
Dragon Age: Inquisition
The Order: 1886
GTAV & TLOU PS4
FIFA 15

I'll probably buy these:

Watch_Dogs
The Evil Within
Destiny
Evolve

Octodad
Secret Ponchos
War Thunder
Destiny
Helldivers
The Evil Within
Velocity 2X
The Witness
Alien: Isolation
Batman: Arkham Knight
Diablo III
DriveClub
Minecraft
The Order: 1886
Planetside 2
Transistor

Those are day one buys, I'm sure there will be a few impulse buys. I'll definitely end up buying The Last of Us and GTAV if they come to the PS4 also.

Not a bad list at all. I count a dozen games I'm buying for sure, not counting indies which I tend to buy on a whim. Certainly a lot more than I bought for PS3 in it's first full year on the market.

Hmmm, that is interesting. The Golf Club game website still says Spring 2014 for all three platforms and the Facebook page for it talks about the console products as a done deal (except that there will be no "Early Access" program for it.)

I assumed it'd be PC-first and the console versions would trickle out as they may, and I didn't see anything about the game at GDC (HB is in Nova Scotia, Canada, maybe they couldn't get away with crunch time on them.) But they're clearly plugging away. Hopefully its omission is just a mistake on Sony's part.

HB is an indie developer that has also shipped product under the traditional publishing model, so I have a bit more faith in their console promises than I do the rogues promising on a prayer...

The retail games I am interested in are

Diablo III
Drive Club
The Order
Destiny
Guilty Gear Xrd
Batman Arkham Knight
The Last of Us (if rumour is true)
GTAV (if rumour is true)

I'd really like to see some info about Giant Sparrow's (The Unfinished Swan) next game, hopefully it's coming to the PS4.

They have this on their website.
Our next game is still kind of a secret.

The working title is "Unannounced Giant Sparrow Project" and there's no release date yet or platforms announced.

It's not a sequel to The Unfinished Swan but it's not a million miles away either. If you like surreal experiences and games that aren't much like anything you've ever played before then you'll probably like it.

For more information about "Unannounced Giant Sparrow Project" please checkout our blog.

They had a three-game deal with Sony, but things have apparently changed since then.
