Some people elsewhere are speculating that listing could be referring to an arcade port of some kind since Namco has done arcade-exclusive Mario Karts before. Though, in my opinion, I kind of find that very unlikely.
It's more likely DLC or something, but I'm not sure why they would say "Smash Bros. 6" and look for hiring 80 more people to the already 120 employed if it's just DLC...

As has been mentioned before, even if SSB4 is delayed I don't think they would mar the SSB Direct with that news.
If the Direct comes and goes tomorrow with no mention of a release date outside of the super-vague "2014" then we can start panicking and worrying about delays in the next general Direct.

If there is a 'delay' of the game, which I currently doubt, then I hope it leads to a simultaneous worldwide release like Pokemon X/Y. It would be great having the whole world get the game at roughly the same time and could preserve at least some of the harder to unlock characters and secrets for even a short while.

There is a nonzero chance of this.
Brawl's delay was nonsensical and NOA appears to be scheduling games out of spite at the moment. Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2 both have Summer release windows in Japan, but general "2014" windows in America. Last year, we saw several month+ delays on games from Japan despite the fact they were clearly ready to go. We got Layton 6 months and months later than every other territory and, because of the late Layton release, they're holding back Layton vs. Ace Attorney in America so the two don't release close to each other. They're literally punishing us because of their bad scheduling.
NOA likes to keep summer bare and then just release everything in the fall and winter. Nintendo Japan doesn't really care. So I'm not saying Smash will release in the summer (it might but it probably won't), but if it does, I would bet NOA delays it a few months.
Is there a non-youtube 60fps version of any smash footage at all? That just looks like a rip of the youtube vid, but maybe i'm wrong.
