The obvious one to me is Snake at this point, but anything could happen.

I don't think there's much of a consensus, but the only characters I can see getting cut are Snake (for possible Konami reasons) and the transformation characters (Sheik, ZSS, the PT) because of the 3DS' limitations and possibility inability to handle loading extra characters into RAM.

People who think characters like Ike, Lucas, or ROB are being cut make me laugh.
