I'm a little disappointed with this Direct to be honest. I have no clue who Greninja is (even though I'm sure he/she will be fun to play as) and while Charizard looks badass, he's also a downgrade from Pokemon Trainer. What I'm most disappointed with is their treatment of Wii U however. Why the hell is that mode exclusive to the 3DS version? It looks pretty awesome. The Wii U port has been delayed and is missing a whole mode, way to go Nintendo!
Nintendo's trolling was hilarious by the way. They faux-ended it with seemingly no new characters and then revealed the new Pokemon characters.
I'm still hyped as hell.

Really impressed with how much variation in styles and move sets the new fighters and remade fighters have. There's just so much to by hyped about from this.
Either E3 reveal or one of the big tournaments this summer (if Nintendo truly is going to be involved in some form) -- at MLG or EVO. Depends on the 3DS version's release but we'll definitely know the final roster this summer.

Wii U will have a different mode I'm sure. It's their big holiday game for the system.

Oh god. Can you imagine if Proto Man is Mega Man's alt costume?
Kinda sucks that Dark Samus is an assist and not an alt costume for Samus.

We only know that it doesn't have that specific mode. It might have other stuff that they aren't willing to reveal yet. That mode wouldn't work on the WiiU anyways (unless it was online only).
Weird. Hoping both Ness and Lucas make a return. I recently started using them in Brawl. I never realized how fun they were to play as.

Kinda dissapointed we didnt get some super secret awesome 3rd party characters announced at the end..BUT all in all that was an awesome ND and of course more characters are coming. Megaman just looks fucknig perfect, Little Mac as well. And Final Destination versions of all the stages is pretty much the best idea ever. SOLD.
I don't think I've ever had so much fun watching a Nintendo Direct. I can't wait for this game now!
It wouldn't have been a good idea for the two versions to compete head to head, and it seems each one will be quite distinct from the other. SSB being one of the Wii U's holiday titles makes perfect sense, actually, and one can assume it'll make for great marketing around that period.

Not sure how I feel about ZSS's high heel battle boots. I'm all for super powerful kicks and shit like that, just don't like high Heels on Samus. Looks stupid.

I really can't wait until for summer.
They never announced any sort of release date, you cannot delay something you never announced a date for in the first place. While i'm surprised 3DS is being released first, they want smash bros to be there xmas title from the looks of the releasing timing, but don't want to sit on the 3ds version for too long.
I also suspect while the 3DS has that mode, the WiiU will have its own modes as well, likely announced at E3.

That was an awesome Direct! I loved the Midna Assist Trophy! I'm now super hyped for Smash, too bad the Wii U version (the version I want) is so far away. :/ Can't wait to play as Rosie though!
