I think it's a cool mechanic and I love the mindgames with them when it comes to items but they just feel underwhelming to me. Neutral B feels so weak, side B is blah, Down B felt like a downgrade in brawl and up B is just boring like Olimar's old up-b. Might just be personal preference though. Final smash I totally agree however.
It was a great night for Donkey Kong fans.

That's actually better IMO. Build the hype train, he wouldn't be doing this if he wasn't planning on one of those people being in/changed, look at Waluigi. If he had no plans he would kill the hype train early to get rid of the negative stigma for making people wait for any sort of answer.

If Sakurai actually made Ridley playable, what would us Ridley fans long for?

The most famous and popular version of ganon is Manondorf, and he is already in the game
And ridley is arguable, because metriod has never really been that big.

Every Smash game had newcomers from the latest Pokémon generation, it's not really hard to predict that we will get a newcomer from the 6th gen of pokemon.

Gen 6 doesn't really have many standouts. Many people predicted either a Gen VI trainer or just mega evos. Either way, he wasn't wrong.
Everyone has their off days lol.

He's still 100% though, and it's not that vague. He narrowed down the series and even game that the character was in a few hours before the character was revealed. The rest of his guesses, which were also right, weren't vague.
Ridley is like that one kid that never got picked at recess.
Other M ridley being the one that was chosen to be playable.

We also don't know what role Ridley will have in Smash 4. There was the boss "tease", but that very much looked like a tease that he might be playable. It could really go either way. I think people should stop being mad that he's not playable until we have 100% confirmation that he isn't.

What about Dedenne? It's basically the little Pikachu of this gen just like Pichu.
But even then he didn't say Greninja, he was vague as fuck and guessed that a 1 Pokémon from over 70! will join the roster.
If you believe him for that then I guess I will go ahead and put 70 characters on a list and predict that "a character from this list" will be a newcomer.
I totally believe his first leak, but there's no proof for his second leak until Shulk or Chorus guys are revealed, (Pauletena and Chrome are highly likely).

Best case scenario: Other M Ridley is either not in the game or is a boss and Ridley is playble based on his Brawl design but with his proportions altered.But theres's more than one ridley like there are more than one link and zelda

Bitter sweet scenario: Other M Ridley is playable.

Dedenne never had a chance. Nobody was thinking Dedenne would be added, and Dedenne had already be confirmed as a Pokeball at that point. Past gens had obvious front runners like Lucario and Zoroark, Gen VI didn't really have one outside of Greninja, opting for things like Mega Mewtwo instead. Greninja was a possibility, but people thought it would be weird to have a solo starter with PT around.
If that list has 65 characters that have virtually no chance of being playable, that'd still be a pretty good list.

Plusle and Minun were cool as like an introduction to double battles, but I don't understand why Pachirisu, Emolga and Dedenne exist. Does someone at Game Freak have an electric rodent fetish or something?

I think they just feel obligated to make a new one at this point.
Its move pool is hilarious. Even though it's a special attacker, it doesn't learn Dazzling Gleam... But don't worry, it learns Play Rough instead to take advantage of its base 58 physical attack!
