To be fair, they had Modnation Racers out before that, and that was a much better game.![]()
Sony tried taking on Mario Kart, too. That didn't work out either.
Still not at Mario Kart level though.

Definitely this.On pure visuals SSB4's absolutely squashes the previous two, no questions asked.
That said, it looks like it has Brawl's dumb edges, so Melee's might still win.
It's funny that some people who left Blur went on to work on Transformed for Sega/Sumo.
Is the Ocarina of Time Medley the one from Brawl?
Saria's Song, noice.
Nintendo are acknowledging him, he and some Kremlings appeared in Mario Sports games, and we're going to see Kremlings in Smash Run. I think that's pretty decent recognition, even though they're not in the DKC games anymore.
As long as there are a good number of new arrangements, I'm all for it. If the arrangements (or originals) are good, I'm satisfied.

This is pretty much what I wanted for Final Destination.
- Takes place in space? Yes.
- Has a double world like thing from Melee's FD? Yes.
- Looks badass like Brawl's FD? Yes.
I love it, but it has ledges that seem similar to Melee's Battlefield. >_>
Although looking at it again, it seems the right edge is like Brawl's Battlefield while the left edge is like Melee's Battlefield. So it is uneven?

The underside of the stage seems a little weird. It has what appears to be quartz-like crystal formations, and also some weird tree root type thing coming out of it as well.

Lava veins and Ice Crystals, fitting in the theme of the game.

Also interesting to note that Smash 3DS comes out in Summer and WiiU in Winter, corresponding to each game's element.
Ice and Fire.

Shit, I didn't even realize that.
Blue (Wii U) and red (3DS) motifs. Like how one of the backgrounds of the stage is Earth (blue) and the Sun (red).
Technically, yellow.

I'm not sure what Mortal Kombat and The Princess Bride have to do with it.It's scarlet and indigo, people.
Ice and Fire.

Sega, on the other hand, succeeded at making a worthy competitor:

It's not about winning, it's about making friends
And Dart.
Fucking Sony cuting fucking Dart.
They already had the character already done!

Nintendo. Buy Legend of Dragoon and give it to Camelot.
Adding on to this, it seems Battlefield is also uneven? Hard to tell with all of the foreground stuff on the stage itself.Although looking at it again, it seems the right edge is like Brawl's Battlefield while the left edge is like Melee's Battlefield. So it is uneven?

little thing I noticed but the Original/Arrangement is color coded, if the arrangement is red that means its new to SSB4, but if the Arrangement is gray its a SSBB Arrangement.SSB4

Just how deep does this go?
lol Good Cole and Evil Cole. That's like having Link and Toon Link! The game has a few different menus. All equally horrible.

That's why I had first title based on A song of Fire and Ice but no one didn't even trying to dig beyond the meaning.

Except that Link and Toon Link offer extremely different play styles. Cole and Evil Cole were basically just a change in color, since every character in PSA played the same.lol Good Cole and Evil Cole. That's like having Link and Toon Link!
..wait.
I think you mean fire and hotter fire...

The blue is clearly ice, as it forms crystals in the logo.
Watch one of the trailers, like the Greninja trailer, it is fire.

I've never seen fire form perfect angles. It shimmers (as Ice does) but it is not fire.
Holy spit.
I don't know how I feel about that, now. I've always been a hot over cold kinda guy, and yet the better version has the ice motif. Sakurai, what have you done? D:
The half-fire, half-ice motif can mean only one thing: Ice Climbers and Roy are the final bosses.
A Song of Ice Climbers and Fire Emblem
