Look, even if you refuse to acknowledge that you were wrong, the two are still comparable enough to make the original comparison. Having FSA giant Ganon as a boss while Ganondorf is playable makes about the same amount of sense as having a Other M sized Ridley as a boss while a resized Classic Ridley is playable. If anything it makes more sense, because playable Ganondorf wouldn't contrast with the rest of the Zelda characters (all TP) like Classic Ridley would with the Other M Metroid characters.

The wiki uses the word incarnated. The actual game never uses those words. I'm sorry, I gave you too much credit. You borrowed something that someone else made up. It's still not stated to be the case in the game, just like the Ridley situation.
People aren't being "over-emotional" by pointing out how the manner in which Ridley was shown leaves plenty of room for a number of possibilities to play out.

The fact of the matter is Sakurai implied something but didn't explicitly show it or say it (unlike what he did with various ATs like Waluigi and Ashley, explicitly saying they're not playable), and the character in question has multiple iterations that aren't even technically the same character. In 39 minutes there were multiple bait-and-switch reveals -- Zero Suit Samus being cut, a Palutena trophy turning out to be Pseudo-Palutena, and so on. All things considered, it wouldn't be surprising if Ridley were just a stage hazard, and this is what I'm inclined to believe will happen... but at the same time, given the facts I pointed out, I can see why the possibility of playable Ridley is still entertained.
That was just about whether or not Ridley is the same character in Other M as previous games. Whether or not he is doesn't matter because even if he wasn't Other M Ridley is still looks too similar to his other appearances. If Ridley is playable either he won't be a stage hazard or the stage hazard will be replaced when he's on that stage.
