I am pretty sure it's not supposed to be up, but it is. o_O IMO the frame rate is something you get used to.

EDIT: Yeah, looks like a PS Store listing bug, the EU version is listed as disc only, released on the 16th.

I'd say it depends on whether you think they are skilled enough to see what you're doing and actually counter it. Try to get a feel for their skill level, if it's low enough that they are blind to what you are doing, give them some hints. If you think they are skilled enough that they should be able to find a counter, keep doing it and ask them if they can see what you are doing to them.
 
That question seems really obvious to me.

There really isn't a reason to "feel out their skill level" or anything. If the person was capable of seeing those things on their own, they wouldn't be asking for help. If they keep getting beat by the same thing over and over again, obviously they either don't understand what they're doing wrong or they aren't able to come up with a solution on the fly. There is absolutely no reason not to explain it to them if it's obviously tripping them up. You can't solve a problem you don't know exists. What happens to lesser-skilled players when they get overwhelmed like that is that they just get desperate and start doing things to avoid the situation in the first place, which means they'll never learn, and as soon as someone else can put them in the same position, they'll start losing to it again. It's the easiest way to make someone quit the game or adopt a scrub mentality.

Yea I do that shit over again without saying anything. It's only if something is specific to that character like an overhead or something then I'll say something
 
Whenever someone beats me using something that I can't adapt to I give them a salty look, get up, and slam my stick so hard into the floor it leaves a crater.

Yes like C.HK or C.MK with Ryu for instance but doing a 5f normal on a -5 move is a 0 frame punish, which is very hard too do. Preferably, you would want a normal that starts up faster than 5f and can reach Dee Jay or a 5f special move that you can reversal with.

Do it over and over again for several matches. If I see they are getting frustrated and are clearly just grasping at how the hell to deal with it, I'll go and show them what I'm doing and what to do/how to anticipate/yada yada.

Although instead of using double feint to predict a delayed wakeup, how about biting that Ibuki trick's idea? Aalways use the same feint into super jump timing, intend to do jump hp/hk, but try to react to "technical" by doing burn kick?

edit: oh nooooo my 160 but really 200 damage because it almost always counterhits invincible antiair/wakeup/escape move is no longer safe against almost everyone in the game oh nooooooo rip honda
 
I know Mike Ross' pain. Using a character you like that's pretty ass, but character loyalty makes you stay.

Except Honda actually wins some matchups.

Ex Ochio throw only has throw invincibility. They take away the full invul because Honda OP

I have always found it really hard to get instant feint after dashing in to super jump, but that might just require training (Or there is trick I don't know about)

Regarding the double feints for delayed wake up: I am not sure if the "Technical" will show early enough to react with double feint, so your idea might be better. But is the burning kick going to hit 11 frames later than the super jump in to Hp/Hk?
 
Technical should really show up only when the character is already at neutral. If they can react to it, then it defeats the purpose.

yeah i agree with this. if delayed wakeup is something they want in the game, they should make it so you can't react to it. the delayed wakeup technical dialogue in this version allows certain characters to alter existing safe jump/mixup timings into other safe jump/mixup timings. ibuki we've seen do this, now there's evidence that viper may be able to do it. could cammy do it? akuma? evil ryu, even? basically, characters with good mixups out of air options may be able to continue those good mixups despite delayed wakeup in ways that other characters can't. that kinda sucks imo.

I think they mentioned that the "prompt" was intended for the defender to know that they had successfully delayed their wake up, but for characters that can delay their air trajectory, it is reactable you are right. What kind of "prompt" could they use for this? I don't think something only the defender could notice exists?
 
Finally beat my loudmouth coworker 3-0 in Injustice earlier today after work. Dude kept wanting to jump in, so Grundy was more than willing to antiair grab him.

I'm pretty sure I talked about this awhile back. I'm pretty okay with it, since characters with good oki tools are going to be the ones who still have good oki. If they're balanced around having good oki I can dig having them like that, but Idk if that's the case.

Faust is a bit easier to learn compared to Potemkin. As a pot main, I really struggled early on because I didn't know i had to charge Hammerfall lol. Once you learn some of pots hammer break combos he's really fun to play.

Are you playing +R or the older gg games?

I'm stalking the interwebs for any video of her, but haven't found anything new yet besides the two new melo videos that just got posted. :/
Her alt is slowly growing on me...
 
Playing the Ultra mod on PC, and god damn Juri is so much fun compared to her AE version, and shes still pretty fun in AE. The far st. MP buff is great.
