I was guessing that FROM was going to do a new IP next or something completely different than Dark Souls. I want to see that as well.
 
Hopefully it is just a time out; However I was even surprised when I read that post; I knew it was a troll attempt but it went too far.

I'm hoping we get more information sooner than later... but expect to have to wait till E3 for the trailer. I love that this game has been getting hinted to subtly by Demonnite for the past few weeks and no one caught on.

Well, he went quicker than I expected going by the name / avatar.. occasionally you can judge a book correctly by the cover.

On a different note, I think the Project Beast hype train is going to die out prior to E3. Which is okay, as I'd almost like to forget I saw any of this and hope for a spectacular, fresh reveal at that time... but if they don't show anything at E3....

Like I give a shit if he got banned or not. Just seemed excessive is all if it was for that "dust collector" comment. But by all means, keep the game going! lol

But to actually post on topic...This rumor seems believable but it is far from confirmed so I'll keep my expectations in check. Would be awesome if true though.

This thread is still just chugging away... wow. I seriously can't believe how fast this thread is moving at this juncture, because realistically it should have slowed down by now, right? And all because of a few screenshots! In a way it kinda sucks that sony doesn't get to drop this bomb at E3, but considering how much this thread has blown up, I don't think it really matters anymore. I honestly don't get it though lol... it really feels surreal how a game that is known for its severe difficulty is garnering so much attention, because I would of figured a leak of this magnitude would yield a thread of 45 pages at most, not 108 and no sign of letting up!

You know if this is totally 100% legit, I must admit I'm kind of surprised Sony let a leak like this happen once again.

Oddly enough they seem to have a much greater problem with leaks than MS or Nintendo. Yes, they have their fair share of leaks too, but not nearly as bad as Sony.

I have to wonder why Sony has more of a problem keeping important developments within its confines confidential?

This keeps happening every year and I guess they haven't taken any major steps to suppress the problem, because its not being curtailed in any respect.
 
Now that Beast Souls is out in the open, let's talk about Sony's Secret Big JRPG that is supposedly on the scale of FF. I have a sneaking suspicion that it's going to be another co-developed game, seeing as how Beast is now the second title after Deep Down to have such an arrangement. But with who? I think it's going to be Konami. They could use a little help in generating some new IP.

Unannounced JRPG 2' will be SCE's second attempt at a big game emulating FF. If this comes to fruition, and is successful, then there is a franchise opportunity which can be exploited. Probably the most experimental project as if it bombs, then they'll never touch anything like it again. I don't think it will though. With the advent of FF15, KH3, and the announcement of FF16 sometime between 2014-2015, Japan gamers will be ready for this. The big question mark is whether they can translate some of that success to the West which will obviously be an aim.

What recent leaks are you talking about? i thought they kept ps4 details under wraps pretty well. MS has suffered way worse rce tly whether it be via conteolled leak or not.

I have a feeling that, even if Verendus is an insider, that talking about it so early on was kind of redundant. I am certain however, Sony will at some point collaborate with Level 5 again. That makes entire sense.

And OT: Don't know if Duckroll missed my post on the last page, so just to ask again (if he's hovering about):

Dude, they've been having leaks all along. They never stopped.

We heard about The Order 1886 WELL before Sony showed it.

We had full cognizance of Sony's VR intentions well before Sony presented Project Morpheus.

Extensive details were being discussed of Sony's Streaming Service before Playstation Now was formally shown.

If you want me to present my argument a little more clearly then ask yourself this:When was the last time Sony genuinely shocked us with an official announcement that wasn't hinted at or outright leaked prior?

Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy Versus XIII becoming XV was a blindside... so was the 8GB of GDDR5.

I'm talking about actual information of the service itself. Not just the fact that they were setting one up. Hence why I said "Details".

The streaming service being forthcoming was obvious after they bought out Gaikai, of course.

Could be early, yeah. For Sony's sake I hope they have more than Beast Souls lined up for the Japanese market between now and FFXV. I'm not sure what else would pick up the slack.

Level 5's working on Wonder Flick now, which is going to be released on like every platform possible, so maybe they've got their hands full already.
