Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread 7: How Can My Smash Brother Be This Cut

Something about this, greatly disturbs me.

Just image how much money you could make in the Twilight universe by skinning a vampire and selling the leather *_*

You can't skin them, their bodies are like marble.

How do you know that

Well this thread is going places now lol.

this idolmaster stuff looks terrible I hope it never gets into smash
I've seen Miiverse comments to the PotD that make more sense than this.

Is this actually true?
Well it just had a film, another anime series being broadcast and another announced, toys that outnumber the population of China, the Namco building in Osaka is plastered with them, etc. The fact it's only got a presence in Japan does hold it back somewhat (though Namco are showing signs of pushing it outside of Japan) but I'd safely say it's currently one of their key franchises.

I posted this in the Nintendo E3 prediction thread so I'll repost it here.

Miyamoto will show off his new IP (no release date) and the protagonist of that game will be a playable character in SSB4.

How do you know that
Um... because of reasons.

Don't the vampires rip each other to shreds? I'm pretty sure you could skin a vampire with a vampire...
They tear them into hard stone-like chunks. You can't skin them like that. The best you could do is sell them like marble slabs, or at least something in that vein.

You'd have to be careful not to get all the pieces back together though...

Like, probably

Soul Calibur and Tekken are dying and Pac-Man is in that Mickey Mouse state of being super recognisable without actually making much money

they have literally nothing else

Wut.

Soul Calibur, maybe, but Tekken? No. There has been a decline in the fighting game market that has effected all fighting games, if that's what you mean. They aren't dying though.

Wat?

Isn't Soul Calibur and Tekken , Epically tekken super profitable everywhere else except the US.

Tekken and Soul Calibur both do well in the US. There has been a general decline in the entire fighting game market but that by no means means that either of those franchises are dying.

Finally caved and bought myself a 2DS for my birthday a couple days ago!

I've just been borrowing games from my little brother and thought i would just on here and ask for suggestions for my first couple games I pick up. I'm very much leaning towards Fire Emblem Awakening (as I have been playing the older GBA ones lately and they are fantastic) and Kid Icarus Uprising. Anything else I am really missing out on?

I haven't been too hyped for the 3DS version as I didn't own a system to play it on but now I am freaking stoked! I seriously hope that the release is mid-summer (i'm thinking like late June or Early to Mid-July). And it would be mind-blowing to have a surprise announcement the last day of E3 that the reason they only brought the Wii U version as a demo to best buy's and E3 is because it was available for download and purchase!

Both Soulcalibur and Tekken still sold more than a million worldwide at least. It's only their Japanese sales that are almost dead. Well, TTT2 was a disappointment due to the high budget and lower sales than its predecessors, but that's still much higher sales than Idolmaster in Japan by itself.

In fact, even only looking at their Japanese home console sales, Tales still sells better than Idolmaster.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Put about 500 hours into that game. It was fun. :3

So I haven't been paying too close attention to rumors/'leaks' since the Sal one that coincided with Greninja's reveal, but has anything more been heard about that Mario Kart guy who said the game's going to have 48 reps and 4 cuts?

Nope, people realized that Mario Karty guy is full of himself so they moved on.
