Wow! When I first saw the game, wasnt very interested. Now we have gameplay...looks very good! MS scored getting this it seems.
 
into half a litter puddle of juice. But why such a sudden change? Engine just phases out their models in 1 frame and places a small juce sprite in their place. Transition looks jarring. They should at least create small animation of enemies designating into nothingness at least.

Why would they disintegrate into nothing when the Orange Soda is part of the game's make up?
 
Congrats to Xbox users as this seems to your Infamous with a touch of dead rising....

Quantity over quality though as it looks like Dynasty warriors that had a baby with Crackdown and Infamous

So apparently there's a gun called the "AK Fuck-you-up" and an item on the menu of "Sexburger" called "Clitater Tots"
 
Looks really nice, and given it's Insomniac, I'm sure it'll be tons of fun.

To be honest, it's a bit disappointing to see them continue their trend of heavy borrowing from other devs, as the similarities to other games are pretty striking here. I'd maintain that Insomniac really starting from the ground up and creating something would be a truly wonderful thing, but we haven't really seen that yet - it's always their take on Jak and Daxter or Halo/Half Life etc.

Still, game looks like great fun - can't wait to give it a whirl.
 
Looks a tad bit slower than I was hoping for, but Crackdown x JSR is so up my alley, there's no way this isn't getting a shot. This game is going to live or die on its mission design.

Wow, looks great! Wasn't expecting much but now I am excited. And if the music from the youtube mirror is what we can expect from the OST then I'll be ecstatic (not sure if the music was user-added).
 
RAD really have squandered an important first impression. Now they have to rebuild hype at E3.

I agree. I mean they met the hype around the visuals, but they showed virtually nothing interesting gameplay wise. Very poor handling of the reveal.

Hey, look, it's a game I might buy a console for :)

Looks funny, gameplay looks fast, frantic and precise, distinct artstyle, doesn't look like it was ported from PS360.. Great!

I played every single ratchet and clank game minus the last one. Ratchet's gameplay was identical to the first one. Only thing that changed was Clank's, which was the highlight of ACiT.

It has been a running problem with Insomniac's game design, that the thing they focus the most is the weapons, not the mechanics. It plagued Ratchet and it plagued Resistance. In all of them, the only thing that changed was the guns.

So far, judging by this small clip, they seemed to fix that.

All of this is inaccurate, lol.
 
My favorite thing about what we've seen so far is how many different games people are citing as to what it reminds them of either visually or through gameplay and how "all over the map" they are. Crackdown, Dead Rising, InFamous, JSR, Ratchet and Clank, Tony Hawk and on and on... and all of those kinda work. It is an explosion of goodness in the form of an orange energy drink.

Holy shit you think the only thing that changed from Resistance 1 to Resistance 2 was the guns? I am not sure how a person could ever be more wrong about something.
 
Huh, Infamous SS, has a beautifully rendered city but very little to interact within it. SO, is more like a parkour playground. Nothing in that game looks scaled back.
Yea, scaled back was a poor choice of words on my part. Perhaps something like more laid back would fit better with what I'm trying to say.
 
I watched the video before reading any comments. Not surprised to see so many other people think it looks like a light hearted Infamous.

Nothing that will change the gaming world, but it looks fun!
