Continuing on my P4G journey, just got to the part where MC, Chie, and Yosuke all fall into the TV in Junes. This game is so well voice-acted and pretty funny too. I'm liking it over P3P so far.

Interesting, the English voice acting is the only thing preventing this from being one of my top 5 all time games
pushes it to the top 6 instead
. I found most of the cast to remind me of Saturday morning dubbed anime, ok but not great with a lot of overacting. Chie's english VA in particular really grated on me. I really do wish the game had Japanese voices. I actually would have muted the sound if the music wasn't so phenomenal.

I do hear a lot of people say it is a good voice-acting job, so it could be just me. To each their own though. Also, that part of the game is awesome because you finally get to do some fighting, even if it is just a little.

need them cgi pokemon on my vita , it would work well

buy my shirt dis time~~

Dude... you're comparing P4G to P3P? That's like... comparing a Ferrari to a Ford Pinto.

I have a question does anyone know how to share clips with psn friends. I have my facebook linked and set to public but the clips don't show up on my friends what's new section. I thought we would be able to share clips with psn friends. I dont see the point of even having a share button if i cant share with psn friends. Am i missing something the clips do not show up on my profile for my friends either. Do my psn friends also have to be facebook friends to see the clips on there ps4's why do they clips have to go through facebook in the first place, sorry for mini rant if i could some clarification on this, if it's set up so only facebook friends can watch on the ps4 then i'm not even gonna bother with it.

Then what is Lightning herself?
Sorry, hafta do it

Lightning = goddess
Terra = most lovable person you could meet
Rinoa = queen
Yuna = kween
Ashe = better than quistis
quistis = that one person who i swore spat in my coffee
tifa = owes me a golden saucer ticket
Yuffie = .....yuffie

I don't know what wizardry the guys at Marvelous AQL did, but Soul Sacrifice went from having some of the worst AI partners I've ever seen in the original to some of the best in SSD. One of my partners even used one of those new offering combos to heal me when I was at low health (healing arrows). Very impressed, to say the least.

It's not wizardry; they just learned from past experience.

How about the guys like Kain, Locke, Cloud, Squall, Zidane, Tidus, Vaan, and Snow?

I want to asked you to compared it with Toukiden, then I realized that you've waited for the Extreme version.
In a few minutes I'll seeing it myself if Carnatux kept whining over the med cost and crush into me with his stone spell or not.

I want to say that SSD AI might be better than Toukiden's judging only by the demo. It should be interesting to see how the AI partners in Freedom Wars are.

Picked up P3P on the sale. Yay :D
Probably should have gotten P2 since I've given up halfway through before lol

edit: so uhhh. How do I transfer my old PSP save file to my Vita?

Finally got some good time onto Borderlands 2 on my new Vita.

I really don't know what these so called reviewers are talking about. The game looks great for being on a handheld. I don't know what they expected. There are some graphical glitches like posters on walls flickering but that's about it so far.

The corpses don't bother me I find it funny how the enemies blow up lol it kind of adds to the tone of the game

My two cents and I wonder if this game would score better if it were on 3DS

Curious. Do PSP games on the Vita run any better than they did on the PSP? Like did they overclock did the CPU or anything like how you could with a Custom Firmware PSP or are they stuck at the original clock speed?

Also. Billinear Filtering/Color Spacing Yes or No for P3P?

I could see that.
240p, shitty controls because no dual analogs and cutdown everything because of the hardware power but it would be the greatest thing since sliced bread. Yes, I am bitter.

Due to how things works, they'll leave things as is. AKA:
-things programmed to use higher clock speed will use it
-things not programmed to use it will stay at their default speed.

I've never played it before. Always wanted it but never owned a PSP. I got my Vita last week with Persona 4 and I'm liking it a lot so I'm looking forward to Persona 3 too.

Yeah, one image says more than thousand words. And...

While I mostly agree that it's a lost cause, is it because of natural market forces or because of just how little SCEA has supported it?

While smartphones have negatively impacted sales, the fact that the 3DS is still doing reasonably well suggests the Vita's failure is more a result of SCEA's ineptitude than anything else.

One exclusive big name title like GTA would go a long way in moving units but it would obviously require Sony to fund most, if not all of production, which is why it will likely never happen. Heck, even some other made for the system titles like Infamous would help.

I think it won't help that much. At this point there is an unhealthy worth of mouth that says the Vita is not worth its price and the 3DS has a vastly superior library. I think, even if a game like GTA released right now, people would consider it's better to wait a year and get it as a PSN/XBL game since, you know, it's PortStation Vita.

And, on the other hand, the console lacks mainstream appeal. Even if it gets a GTAV spin-off what else can you offer that appeals western dudebros? Call of Duty is mediocre at best, Assassin's Creed Liberations is now on PSN, Need for Speed and BL2 is a 2 years old an multiplatform. There is Uncharted, maybe Little Big Plannet and Killzone (which is not that mainstream). But not much more.

If I were Sony, I'd stick to SCEE plans. I'd create 1 big title retail title a year (it was rumored to be Infamous now), bring SCEJ games, help some Japanese third parties / indies in order to fill the platform with content, contracting smaller times to create cheap but innovative titles that their enthusiast fanbase will like. And doing different promotions to try and gather some kids and a younger fanbase.

SCEA made several games for Vita, and they secured the two best selling third party franchises in Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed for its first year. The kind of gaming that SCEA usually gets behind in marketing and development is just not doable on handhelds anymore, so there's nothing else they can do really.

People should also keep in mind it's called SCE Worldwide Studios and if SCEA is making ports and Bend is working on PS4 that was ultimately decided by Yoshida (and that decision was driven by the market).

Just giving up it's not the wise choice IMO. The fact that they're not trying to look for further options says a lot. Even if the same position, SCEE has done a better job.

And even if Shu is WWS leader, he can't do everything or be everywhere at the same time. Teams like Shahid's and Gio Corsi's probably work on their own. When they strike a deal, they look for Shu's approval. Or maybe not. They look for third-party developers that want to work for SCE. They could perfectly be in a different branch than WWS.

And there are the marketing departments. In SCEE I've seen a bundle for most games that release on the platform. There was one for Rayman Legends, Killzone, Tearaway, Invizimals, Final Fantasy X and a lot more. SCEA does a bundle every 6 months.

And there are the megapacks too. I think they're a nice idea to bring a more casual and younger audience to the platform and that's a good idea.

Billinear Filtering On with Color Spacing Off seems to be the way to go with P3P. 2D Character Portraits and stuff don't look as nice as they did on the PSP but the dungeons and battles arguably look better on Vita. Who knew?

Due to how things works, they'll leave things as is. AKA:
-things programmed to use higher clock speed will use it
-things not programmed to use it will stay at their default speed.

That's unfortunate.

Out of space on my 32GB! D:

Where's the cheapest place to get a 64GB? I'm looking at SuperUFO and its a decent price, but that shipping time is killing me .-.

You answered your own question; even getting EMS from SuperUFO is going to be cheaper than getting one from a seller with Amazon fulfillment.

Yeah it's Sony handheld tax.

Since Nintendo hardware is so outdated there's no chance it ever matches consoles 3DS games are judged in relation to other games on that platform.

Edit: top of page so buy Toukiden because it's awesome and it went on sale in EU this week :)
