that was probably the only scene i really liked in the movie. also the music accompanying magneto would be cool to implement into future films. i hope ottman takes note of that.

anyways i think mcavoy will be the standout performance here (for the past cast). he's got the most to work with considering he also gets to be face to face with stewart.

It wasn't shot in IMAX (admittedly, like most blockbusters which are just upconverted to get your extra cash), but it was shot in native 3D.

Certainly beats a bunch of audiences being suckered into paying for IMAX tickets when it hasn't been shot in IMAX. Almost as egregious as 3D conversions imo. And it happens all the time.

I still can't believe they passed on making a poster based on the comic book cover:

I mean, sure, a lot of people would not get it, but it's way more intriguing than pairing two random characters (Beast & Storm) or having a "bunch of characters standing still (or flying on a chair)" type of poster :/ And even then, that second fan poster is much more interesting in doing a group photo.

These posters are terrible. To think that a bunch of people got paid to do this. A designer, some art directors, some marketing people. PAID to produce something so terrible.
