el robocop ?
Apparently The Robot is known as "The Robocop" in Spain or something, bad, bad song, funny performance though.

Serbia next:

As always, suffers from the hosts curse (Almost nobody has retained Eurovision, Ireland aside, 3 wins in a row in the 90s, scary), good song, will end in the top 5, will not win, if only because it plainly just can't. That said, if it loses to Bosnia...:lol :lol :lol

Well Serbia was all boring and serious last year and it worked, so why change.

Sad but true.

I actually prefer when the wacky guys win Eurovision. That's only for them that I go through the pain of watching it every year.

Let's vibrate that voice some more! Gaawd.

Timbaland did not go great lengths for that song IMHO

Indeed, sounds like the most generic stock "Timbaland template" available. He probably coughed up an archive beat and called it a day.

I don't like is generic playboyness. I'm watching Eurovision, not MTV.

I'd give my children to the violonist with smoking feet in the background though.

Russia: Tipped for greatness this, the performer is huge in Russia and wants to get international success, good luck to him.

The song itself? most marketable song of the night, this song will be a huge hit in the former Soviet states and possibly beyond into central Europe and maybe even here in the UK.

Good performance, decent enough lyrically, good singer, top 3, could steal it.

Edit: Yes, not very Eurovision, more "Buy my album bitches", but hey, doesn't do a bad job at both.

Spain song isn't only performed by a comedian, the song was 1 min 20 seg long. They had to fuck it up to meet standard time or something.

Thats what they get from choosing by internet votes though. I like the 'fuck you too Eurovision' vibe it has.

And yeah, you need a translation to get the 'song'. The point is all the references it uses.
