Drained my battery twice playing Monster Monpiece. Way more fun than I expected. I need to try playing online, see how it is.

I keep going back and forth, but I think I am going to pick this up after all. Gameplay videos look like exactly what I'm looking for right now. (the combat part, not the rubbing, get your mind out of the gutter!) One question, I saw there were a bunch of voice pack DLCs available, is japanese voices instead of english a default option, a DLC option, or not available at all? Major reason I couldn't get into the Conception II demo was because of the english voices. Well, that and the fact that it wasn't super great overall.

The voices are Japanese, there's no English dub. Besides the card game, the rubbing's actually pretty fun too. Don't knock it 'til you try it. =P

Somehow, I'm now curious as to who's the most shameless of VitaGAF.
I reckon I'll have a good crack at that title. My Valhalla Knights 3 party consists entirely of bunny girls (with more bunny girls in reserve), and that takes a whole lot of rubbing.

Not sure about Monpiece. I'll probably buy it just to support niche localisations, but I'm no fan of card games.

Ahh, excellent, thanks. And my main problem with the rubbing is that in general I don't love using the touch screen as it gets all streaky especially now that the weather is getting hotter. Damn mildly sweaty hands and non air conditioned school dorm.

My concern with the rubbing is that someone will see me doing it.

Anyway I have to wait another week until it's out here, but it sounds like it's a must buy from the reactions so far.

PS4 version of Puddle is available on the store. In the description, it says it's cross-buy with the Vita version. I already own this one but the PS4 version doesn't appear as "free". Is it working for you?

It's not showing up as free for me either, I think it just works one way (PS4 -> Vita)...

You aren't losing on anything though, I'm playing the vita version right now and while the idea of the game excited me(it's basically Mercury + Locoroco, two of my favourite PSP games), I'm finding the game itself to be a little boring.

That made me realize how a new Mercury on Vita would be bananas. Or even a port of the PS360 game

(I still have to play Mercury 2 though)

EDIT: I can't find Puddle (vita) at all in the webstore.

How good is Dragon Ball Z Battle of the Z? That price at 12 pounds is very tempting. The demo wasn't bad but the gameplay felt a bit repetitive. Not sure about this one.

Been camping. Missed some great stuff I see. Definitely add me to the list of suckers that fell for that Type-0 "announcement". Well played. Also, nice call on the $10 Catherine. That is a steal. I really want the physical version, for some reason, but I am extremely tempted to pick it up.
Terraria updated last night. All of my worlds that got corrupted by the 1.2 update work now. Good times.
Awesome news, thanks! I am conflicted by this though....on one hand...I am happy...but on another...in my new world I started I already have way cooler stuff pre hard mode...I guess I could always spend the lengthy amount of time transferring my mats and monies...

damn. would be nice if it works with Mac... would love to use the DS4

Huh? You can totally use the DS4 with mac as is, through bluetooth or wired with the normal charging cable. Though I'm not sure if it works with Xinput only games that way (I use some wrapper thing to trick my PC into thinking DS4 is an xbox 360 controller). But for the few games I've tried, DS4 works great on my mac.

Edit: looks like you need a mapping program to make the DS4 work with Xinput games. This link has some suggestions, but I can't personally vouch for them.

An army of bunny girls. I think the best I ever had was have everyone wearing swimwear in Xenosaga.

On another note... gamecatalog has this for Antiphona:
Code:
As an RPG, kusoge level
As a successor to the series, gakkarige level ("disappointing game")
As a "scenario game", basically good (scenario = story)
As a musical game, there are criticisms for some part, but a masterpiece

I... honestly didn't know it was supposed to be a successor to the Marl Kingdom. And an indirect sequel as it happens supposedly happens some hundreds of years after. I regret not buying it (and I think they had a sale earlier in the year too. It's 5000 yen now on the PSS ;_;).

Now I'm sad because both attempts at revivals didn't seem to be well-received. (Marl Kingdom on DS, and Antiphona on PSP; 5 years after Antiphona and we have nothing on the series at all).

To those who don't know, Marl Kingdom was released as Rhapsody A Musical Adventure in English. I played the first game both in english (back in PS1 days) and JP (last year on Game Archives).
I don't remember the English version to be that good but found the JP version to be good. Sometimes, I wish people I could tell people about all the subtleties that goes missing during translation.

Time left for Vitapocalypse.

Lol. That's quite an awesome picture. But...

Sly Collection has been released on Vita.
Sly 4 was on Vita.
Plants vs Zombies picture is a Sly parody.
Plants vs Zombies for Vita confirmed?

Not happening lol, but that's a game I'd actually moneyhat if I were Sony. Aren't they trying to get kids with Invizimals, Minecraft and Vita Pets? Then they should get this game, is a family friendly game that couldn't happen on the 3DS after all.

I have high hopes for Freedom Wars. Hope it doesn't disapoint.

I mentioned several times that Sony should try to moneyhat PvZ: GW for Vita and market the shit out of it. When my nephews played it two weeks ago, the anecdotal evidence supported my idea. They both went crazy for it. To quote my less gaming savvy nephew: "I think I am addicted" (he still stopped playing on his own because he said he already played so 1-2 hours) ;)

There is nothing like the game on handhelds and I don't know if it got enough marketing on the Xbox to reel in some kids.

well they should add bots and some story mode if they are going to do it. Online only will not cut it on the vita.

EA releasing anything on Vita beyond FIFA roster updates is less likely than Capcom committing to quality exclusives on the platform.

Ahh I won't be able to get my mitts on Borderlands 2 until at least Friday. Also tempted by DBZ, only because I've recently started watching TFS Abridged and oh my god wow.

Hate it that BL2 didn't went online before I took my nap and now I have to wait for the damn download :(

Also bought Lemmings Touch and will post some impressions when I get to play it, which could take a while though. No review really mentioned if there are new levels. After playing the PS Mobile version, I hope it does.

And of course the second episode of Broken Sword 5 has to be released out of nowhere when I am struggling with memory space.

The Earthbound look-a-like PS Mobile RPG on the other hand is missing from the German store :(

Just make the horde mode not requiring being online. The game isn't a full price release on the other platforms so it wouldn't be on the Vita. With a lower price, I am fine with a missing story mode.

Had more fun with the game than with Titanfall, which is much flashier but the gameplay underneath shines on PvZ.

Go petition SOE for new PvZ. They're the group that ported Peggle/PvZ/Peggle Nights to PSP/PSV. That might have been pre-EA buyout, though.
