The E3 podcasts are probably my most favourite podcasts they've ever done and it's gonna be so weird not hearing his excitement and enthusiast when they talk about the conferences/games

I was reminded of Ryan's death over the weekend when a recent Scoops & The Wolf podcast mentioned planning a GB Chicago late June get-together near the time of a "thing's anniversary". I immediately thought of Ryan. Hope his widow and family are all well.

Damn, this bump really took the wind out of me. Reminded of the first time I saw this thread and refused to open it, hoping it was some sick joke. RIP Ryan, first time I've felt sad at the passing of someone I didn't know. Also, I've been going through the first few bombcasts, since I wasn't aware of them back then, and it's so nice to have "new" Ryan material. I highly recommend anyone who hasn't listened to those to do so asap.

At first I was very curious. Then I thought, it doesn't matter. He is gone and that information wouldn't make me feel better. I just lumped it with being very overweight and moved on.

Whenever I get bummed about his passing I just try to keep in mind that, if the common beliefs about his death are true, dude basically died from vacationing too hard. That's the Ryan Davis-iest way to go that I can possibly imagine.

Yeah. This is a really unfortunate bump. Nice to remember the guy, but there are Giant Bomb folks who are on this site. Definitely would be a pretty raw things to see just pop up. Perhaps this thread needs a lock or a title change at least.
