Go to Edit Highlight Reel and try changing the options, i,e, replay length, what to focus on, etc. You may get new angles that way.
Unfortunately no (wish you could though by switching with the right control stick...)
Best you can do is change the settings to focus on big hits, or items, or the length of time. That seems to be the only way the camera angles change

I just played 5ish hours of MK8 with four good friends, and Grand Prix 50/100cc courses all night.
It was the most fun I've had with local multiplayer in forever.
So many epic races!
I'm holding out until E3 (hoping for new Wii U colors!) but getting one soon after!

I love how koopa troopa is randomly happy at the end.
I've seen this happen in two of these now where one driver (The Mii in this one, I think it was Larry in the other) will just suddenly spin out of control randomly, am I just not seeing them get hit by something?
That fucking face. Mario looking up at the last second like "Aw, son of a bitch!" That happy koopa. This is great.
The Mii pushes Bowser into a banana peel, but I don't know why he spins out right after that.

Honest question, is this epic slow motion gifs and memes helping sell mario kart 8? I mean it was going to be a massive game in general, but this seems to put it over the top. You can't buy publicity like this
sometimes, your character appears to be fine after being bumped or hitting a hazard, but after a couple seconds, spins out. your kart makes a kind of straining squeaking noise after the damage and then spins out. that's probably what happened here
