OK, I'm slow today. What is that pic trying to say other than showing different Villagers with the color names in spanish? Possible alts?

Yes, basically is pointing out the colors
First one is red, pink, yellow, green and the last one blue :)

Red would be the villager we know from the beginning and the others when we got confirmation of the alternative costumes.
the only one missing is blue which is obscured there.

But I do hope personally that Sakurai don't follow this route and all alts have different colors :)

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification you two :)

So, I assume to play smash 4, we'll need to add everyone ONCE on 3ds and then AGAIN on Wii U. Friends lists aren't currently shared between platforms, right? Or did NNID fix that?

This is really the first case of a game like this, right? Where you'd want to play w/ similar friends on 3DS and Wii U - and they were both made AFTER NNID was added to 3DS.

Pretty sure that was fixed, but no you've got me second guessing myself.

Nope, We still have to use Friend Code for 3DS.

I'm thinking that the 6 on Yellow Villager's shirt is implying that there'll be a full six male alts, each with a number on their shirt... particularly since there isn't a No. 6 shirt in Animal Crossing. No reason to renumber it otherwise, y'know? So I bet "Azul" there will get No. 2, Camo Shirt can get the No. 3 shirt, Purple can come across as-is. Only question is No. 5, since the No. 5 shirt (from what I remember) is historically the yellow one.

I hope that MVP Shirt Villager gets in since I always end up with that face. Somehow.

I was kinda hoping that some Villager alts would have accessories and hats (eyepatch pls). I don't see that happening now, but it'd be a nice touch.

I expect we'll have a huge friend code trade once it's out. NNID for Wii U.

Without smash bros i'm not really motivated at all to add all of you guys :p

In a perfect world, SSB with have communities on both platforms so we don't have to go through that.

Here's an article previewing what PPMD's thoughts are on the Smash Invitational going into it: http://evilgeniuses.gg/Read/356,EG-E3-PPMD-Previews-the-Smash-Invitational/

Pretty awesome stuff he says tbh. Like:

I get it, though. Nintendo is sending a message, and it’s a message I can kind of get behind. The message is, ‘Whether you come from a competitive, a casual, free for all, with items, 1v1 fox only on final destination’ -- it doesn’t matter. We want you to play this game the way you want to play it. Enjoy it the way you want to enjoy it. We want to give you that opportunity. And we want to show you that any way you play the game is fine. I think that’s great. I think that’s beautiful. It’s funny, I don’t have much to knock on competitive guys about, but we lose some of the magic of Smash when we go into competitive play. I love interaction, l love being able to control my character, I love being able to communicate with my opponent on a deep level -- but casual play is fun, silly, and goofy. You get to watch a friggin’ Zapdos come out of the Pokéball and say “I am the master of all of you for five seconds!” That’s really fun. It’s kind of silly, but it’s cool. You get to enjoy that. It’s exciting and it’s visually engaging.

PPMD is so articulate.

Also, Ken is streaming and going to talk about the Invitational while going over Marth stuff: www.twitch.tv/liquidken

I hope there's something like MK8 tournaments in Smash 4 but I'm probably dreaming.

I think you're creating the problem by yourselves by adding up stages from two versions of the game. The only other walk off stages in the Wii U version are Wii Fit and Mario Galaxy.

Is Mario Galaxy a walk off stage? Are we sure of that, cause the edges are rounded off, and I thought there was space past them.
