So my good wife went to some yard sales yesterday and thought I'd be interested in this:
25 cents. No box, but... 25 cents. Just need to dust it off still.
Was dusting this yesterday and interestingly, the bottom of mine says "Nintendo of Europe".

I haven't registered my Wii U to club Nintendo or any of my games. I want to collect the points for next year, but I want to download Zelda and NSMB U today. Is this possible?

You should be good. Surveys last one month, so if you download any games today, the surveys will expire on July 3rd. Just make sure to link your CN account with your Wii U.
I ordered a black one a few months ago and it came with a black nunchuk, so you should be good. It also lists on the store page that it does come with a matching colour, so you should be doubly good.

On that note, I ordered a black set Monday night and it's already shipped out. Should be here on Monday or Tuesdaymaybe Friday if it processes quickly enough. Kind of impressive if that's the case.

Exactly. Once you get platinum your good. The last day for this cycle is the 30th. After that the cycle begins a new. There's no reason to top up on coins unless you plan on ordering multiple items.

You are talking about club nintendo coins right? Sadly, nothing. There's only two way to use the coins. One is to buy the digital games for the month and the other one is to get the physical rewards that they have. So, if you are not living in US or Canada then getting digital games is your only choice
Alright then. Maybe I'll keep saving them with the hopes of Nintendo at some point putting SNES games on the 3DS reward thingy.

You have expiring coins? It'll explicitly say if you have expiring coins on the CN website, as it takes over 2 years for earned coins to expire. Just didn't want you to think they reset at the CN year or something.

Why on earth would you just throw something like that away? Seriously? Sorry, I don't get it when people do this. Also never got the whole "Moms always throw away comics and stuff, oh well, that's just mom, ya know??!" My mom never threw away our stuff and sometimes still calls me once in awhile to let me know if she found something I might want to keep.
How long did it take between putting the code in on your Wii U for Pikmin before the points showed up on the site? I put in WWHD a couple hours ago but the site hasn't changed for my deluxe digital points.

Pretty simple I was relocating half way across country and the less crap we could move with the better. It is pretty simple, all that thing is is just a cheap hunk of plastic. I didn't realize that people valued that hunk of plastic and I didn't need the clutter or crap in my house when I moved.
If I had known it had some value to folks I probably would have given it away.

So is there any hint as to what the platinum reward is going to be this year? I'm not sure why I'm asking since people were talking about a controller last year and it turned out to be hot garbage instead but maybe something changed this year.

It's so misleading, but since you can open it using Wii Mode they can advertise it like that.

Yeah, you have to do the survey this year. Nintendo planned this out wisely, lol.
Only surveys that expire July 1st or later can be left for next year, and it might even be risky to leave July 1st surveys for July 1st, just in case the site gets hammered and goes down and you miss your chance to do the survey completely.

Did anyone have an internal conflict when getting Mario Kart 64? I'll have 220 coins left if I get Mario Kart 64. Do I really want to start next cycle with that many coins? Club Nintendo GAF, council me.....

Damn, so conflicted on whether or not to get Mario Kart 64. If only I knew what the prizes were After June 8th. GAF, is the game worth the coins spent?
Yes.
It's pretty hard to go back to after MK8... or any other Mario Kart post-Double Dash, really.
