So ~45 minutes of the main WiiU centric presentation, right into an expanded live-post show showing extended looks at announced products, eShop, and 3DS games, followed by a live Smash tourney later in the day.

The only criticism I have is the production is a little awkward on the post show.

I don't know if Nintendo won, but they seemed to have learned a few things from previous years.

Okay so a game about squid princess meets Vanellope Von Sweetz complete with glitch like set with paint-based Team Fortress 2 like rascal theme but still distinctive.

Bayonetta 1 complete with the, admittedly by now kinda cliche but I ain't complaining Zelda and Samus costumes EX content.

It seems in the Nintendo Pantheon Kid Icarus is becoming something of the not quite serious but not quite goofiness nexus point. Maybe if you wanna git all fanon lore its the "Heaven" or "upper realms" of all Nintendo-lands and places.

Though it does say how starving they are for ladies they had to go for Palutena it ALSO indicates they want to use some more. Also she has distinct personality being super powered goofball to the elegant and mysterious Rosalina. Just having that many girls on the roster means (however thinly harem anime gave us the moe archetypes) more variations of women and how they distinguish themselves. Moreover Palutena is fun to see interacting/having dialogue.
