DRIVECLUB gets actual weather effects, screenshots inside

More like Sony's custom PS4 API for water.

They had some missions in BF4 on the PS4 with awesome water effects too. It's in the GPU, you just need to work it into the game without killing the framerates!

More like both developers came to the same logical conclusions as to how to visually render/interpret water interacting with the pavement >.>

Those BF4 missions you speak of are in all version of BF4, this has nothing to do with a magical water API.

No, it makes sense as to why Sony left this game out of the E3 presser:
-We've seen the game 3 different shows
-Sony likely didn't want to trot out games like The Witness and Driveclub that were already supposed to be out
-Gamescom is the right venue where sony is stronger, and driving games like GT are bigger.

Yep, Gamescom going to bigger than E3 with GG and MM IP's, more gameplay from Order, DC, Rime, LBP3 etc.,

I can't understand why Sony isn't beating our brains in with their first next gen racer. This deserved some time at E3...this deserved a trailer that showed, in slow mo, how good the rain will look.

Instead, we get a few pics the day after EVERYONE was looking at your conference. This visual trailer would have been nuts had it been shown right before the Uncharted trailer.

Hey, we have the most powerful console...look at how good our water is. DC then boom Nathan. Smh...

Playstation TV doe.

HOLY SHIT, HE SAID SNOWING.

HE SAID SNOWING. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Now I just need them to confirm black ice and we're set.

Hot damn dat rain!

DriveClub's lighting looks so incredibly real.

Project CARS and Forza Horizon 2 still just looks like games.

And this is the thing that propels DC above any of the other next gen racer. The lighting has no match. It looks real like how it looks in real life. All other games specially F5 and FH2 look 'gamey'. PCars on a beefed up PC would probably look better specially the cars but not in lighting and environments.
