Not really true at all, People get down on the English players in the PL but they do play a pretty big role. The reason the EPL is big is because it's comprised of some of the oldest clubs in the world and it was the first league designed to be big. (It's sole purpose is to make money for TV companies). The problem England needs to address is simply a matter of targeting talent better, which the FA is trying to do.
