B perhaps, but I'd consider G at least equal group of death compared with D. Germany is better than Italy, Portugal is equal or slightly better than England, Uruguay is better than USA. Ghana is equal or better than Costa Rica.
It's not all that common for Group A to finish after B, unless FIFA don't know the alphabet. Now Brazil will know which result to get for which opponent.
