What an embarrassing display of our team. Even if we take Von Bergen's injury into account, you don't fucking choke this hard.

Benzema got robbed of like 3 goals at this WC so far :lol

Ref decides, and he decided wrong.

There is no rule saying don't blow whistle while striker is receiving a pass...

Ref decides.

I can't tell if you guys are serious lol. Nothing wrong with that call. Nothing.

He blew the whistle while there was a pass being made. Not a shot, not a cross, just a pass from midfield outside the box.

It's an unwritten rule. You give the ball back when a team kicks it out when there's an injured player on the pitch. There's nothing "wrong" with not doing that, but you'll see (and rightfully so) people get pissed.

Missed the France game, but I guess I should post some pics of salt because of reasons right?
Anyway, go Honduras, daddy wants those nude pics of pulgas sister

Great 5-2 game with quite a few talking points, and ITV can't wait to talk about England again.

Stuff like this makes me glad we're out.

That first Switzerland goal was terrible, even worse than the second Suarez one yesterday.

you would think that the ref would let a play get completed before blowing the whistle or when the ball changes hands

Why? It's not like the game was 1-1 or something, even then the ref would have been entitled to blow. Time was up and the result was decided an hour ago.

A sensible ref would've waited until the very end of the play.

blowing the whistle there, man what a joke.

at least it wasn't 2-2.

That exact scenario happened in 2006 between Australia and Croatia with the match 2-2. Australia had a goal after the final whistle disallowed. The same ref also gave one player 3 yellow cards in that match so he wasn't very sharp all around.

Christ, can we shut up about England already? They shat the bed. We knew they would shit the bed. Mission accomplished.

Can we not just be really happy for Costa Rica and move on with it?

Edit: talking to ITV here.

Gotta analyse every moment of the game so English people don't switch off innit.

I'll write that ref was wrong to blow the whistle and I'll be correct.

Depends on what you think is 'wrong'.

The better decision would have been to let the play go on. However he had the right to blow the whistle. It's not like he blew it during the shot.

So crappy decision...yeah... but not a mistake.
