No that was the soccerball that was sometimes in the citadel. Loved slide kicking that thing around! Was an awesome idea.
Emotes. Sit, Point, Wave, DANCE! In a Sparrow, you could use it to point left, right, or straight ahead for flying in tight formation with your biker gang.

Actually, I forgot that they upped the amount of friends you can have on your list on PS4 and X1. Like to the point where you shouldn't ever hit the limit. Shouldn't be hard to add a bunch of people.

There was also some mysterious bouncy ball by the crypto guy. Hope they make it into the final game.
In addition to what others said, while you're on your speeder bike (The Sparrow) it lets you point in directions corresponding to the direction on the D-pad (down being the military "stop" hand gesture).

as far as I can tell. Bungie been extremely hush hush on everything about Destiny. From how Groups and Clans work to if we can have more than 3 people on a Fire Team, of if 2 or more Fire Team can team up and work together on a mission, raid or strike.
They've kept a tight lid on it for sure. I'm hoping that Raids, Groups and Clans will all see some testing in the Beta...

I can see why JBurton left DestinyGAF and want nothing to do with this. People attacking and accusing one another over something like a Group and stuff.
Stuff that can easily be change and come to an agreement with if people actually behave like civilized adults and actually discuss it.
We had 20 pages or so of people complaining and throwing accusations around why DestinyGAF and DestinyGAF PS4 is not one single group. All it took was two people sitting down, and discuss it like gentlemen and came to an agreement. I don't see why we cant do that now, I even said. Comments and Feedbacks are welcomed. Just not accusations and harsh words.

Considering how much they've been holding back, I really hope the game blows people away. Just seems like if there's a hub and talking about people going on adventures, I am expecting the game to be bigger than the alpha makes it seem.

But seriously: I think it's good that there are admins that are from the various regions (time zones) to fix administration related issues and approve members, but I think creating a hierarchy before there is even a need for this is wasted effort.
As I said before: GAF guilds tend to shrink so much after launch that trying to come up with solutions this much in advance when everyone is still hype from the alpha is not necessary. And this game doesn't have a high player count for activities and we have this forum to discuss things and are not exactly the target audience for Bungie's website.
In the end, all I want is a clan tag under my name. ;-)

Only 1 total in the whole game? I guess there are lots of strikes but one raid seems odd. Maybe more will come as DLC or next year's expansion.

I haven't really been following the drama, but I think the thing is, very few want to be part of "DestinyGAF the organization." Speaking only for myself and those like me, we just wanted what would basically function as a GAF-only friends list so that we could jump into games with other Gaffers.
This whole idea of officers and admins just seems entirely unnecessary. If someone is causing trouble in-game, they don't need an officer to police them, they just need to be put on an ignore list so that everyone else can carry on. Just my 2 cents.

There is only one?? will they be adding more in the future? like DLC and what not. I guess I'm too used to playing MMO where there are more than one raid.
I'm expecting this to be bigger than Halo 3. But I'm trying to keep my hype down so I won't get disappointed. But god it's so hard trying to keep the hype down.
I haven't even play any game on my PS4 anymore. cause nothing interest me. All I can think about is Destiny whenever I look at the PS4.

Anyone play Call of Duty Ghosts? Raids can almost be equated to Extinction from Ghosts. Extinction takes a while to complete even with a competent team (especially on higher difficulties) and there was only one level that shipped with the game. They've added a few more since with DLC, and Bungie will most likely do the same with the first expansion for Destiny.
I don't think people should be concerned about it, especially since we haven't even seen the Raid yet. And it goes without saying that quality > quantity. One good raid is better than two mediocre ones and three awful ones.

As I said to Valentinus, none of this admins stuff will even be considered until close to official launch to the game. That table was made, so V and I can keep track of how many admins there are and which regions they're in. DestinyGAF is suppose to be a democracy type of group. If you don't like anything. then speak up. If you don't like having admins? fine. we'll get rid of it. everyone is a normal players. if you want only a handful of admins and not dozens? fine. we can do that.
Its important to discuss things in a civilized manner, which is what I've been trying to do since the beginning of DestinyGAF PS4. but so far, it's seem like not many people are getting that message. That I'm willing to listen and make changes based on what the group want.
But all anyone see of me is some sort of power hungry devil. and contrary to what people say, words hurts. especially when you have good intention.
Well as far as me and V talked about troublemakers. we thought banning them from the group after multiple offenses would be more effective. But we can certainly entertain of just muting people. I'll mention that to him next time he respond.

Well, I can't relate to that. lol. I personally am very tired of first person shooters. The only reason I'm interested in this is that it seems to be more of a co-op-oriented game. Lost Planet was the only game where I ever really enjoyed the competitive multiplayer aspect, but that was a 3rd person shooter and I happened to be REALLY good at it. I really miss that game =(
But yeah I still have stuff I'm playing on the PS4 like 1001 Spikes, Watch_Dogs, etc. Keep getting stuff through PS+, too. Will definitely be playing TLoU remastered when it comes out. Luckily the Destiny beta is a couple weeks before that, so I shouldn't have to decided which to play. =D
Someone please reminds me. I played Halo 3 a long time ago. did Bungie released paid DLC for that? as far as I can remember. it's a no.

But I already finished Watch Dogs, Wolfenstein, Infamous Second Son. all the games I wanted to play on PS4 are done. Thats my dilemma. but you're right. I can look forward to The Last of US Remastered to help me until Destiny launch.

I mean, the problem with trying to police people in a game like that is the potential for he-said, she-said. On a forum like GAF, you can pretty effectively enforce rules because the ToS is clearly laid out, your membership is contingent upon your agreement to that ToS, and the Mods have all-seeing-eyes of sorts. They can see all posts, all edits, and I believe PMs, as well. Basically, if someone violated the rules, it's right there, and it is often pretty cut and dry. It's a bit more difficult in a game where voice-chat will be the primary form of communication in-game, and that chat will usually be taking place in groups of 3 or 6.Shadownet said:

Do not post this stuffs in the Withdrawal thread. I asked you to post it in the Clan's forum only. People here don't need to know this stuffs.
There is no power plant or power structure in the Clan. I told you right from the Start, this is all about NeoGAF. This is not an MMO. Those Admins are there to help the people on the different time zones manage their schedule and play together on specific platforms if that's what they need.
I went offline for awhile and when I come back, shit happens. Calm down Shadow, I told you many times, we make the deicisons as a Clan. This applies to the Admins & the members.

There is no power struggle. There is just me, Valentinus and some other people trying to work together.
Me and him has been pm'ing each other a lot trying to set up everything. Trying to work out all the kinks, and everything. Some people are just freaking out for no reason to be honest. Valentinus made me an admin because he like the ideas I had and that we both wanted to work together. I don't care about power, as Im trying to explain for the hundredth time. I can easily drop out of all of this and just go play Destiny by myself. But I'm doing this for the group not myself.
