Hilarious. They finished top of their group (which included South Korea who they beat, by the way). I'll admit it's not that hard to qualify in Asia given the general quality of the teams there but Iran's consistently one of the better sides in the region.

It wasn't meant to be insulting, I'm honestly just curious. I haven't seen them put together a good attack in the World Cup yet, so I was wondering how they did it. Obviously these teams are better, I just find it staggering they haven't scored yet.

Hilarious. They finished top of their group (which included South Korea who they beat, by the way). I'll admit it's not that hard to qualify in Asia given the general quality of the teams there but Iran's consistently one of the better sides in the region.

The teams aren't great but the conditions the games are played in, and the style in which they play make it very difficult to get results. All the middle east teams play with similar styles. It isn't easy to win against teams in Iran, Iraq, Qatar, Bahrain etc.
