2014 FIFA World Cup |OT4| What can European men do against such reckless heat?

Lol.

So I think Dracula should stick to reffing Mexican liga games and not be in the world cup. He is a very controversial ref and the world cup doesn't need anymore controversy. Maybe he follows the book by the letter, I don't know. But every single game this guy has questionable calls and creates a shadow over the result. He fucked Chile in 2010 vs Spain and that's why they had to play Brazil in the round of 16. Every memory of this guys games has something controversial.

Knew the moment this guy was to be the ref for this game it was going to be bullshit. He and the Japanese ref can sit with each other on the way out of Brazil.

And yet Switzerland got 3 points, and Ecuador didn't and will likely get eliminated.
Just like Switzerland beat Spain last world cup and couldn't even qualify to the next round, nobody would have said Switzerland was better than Spain (which was the winner of the WC), that's the point. Subpar team.

Absolutely not condoning the biting but lol at the Italian falling on the ground after being bit in the shoulder... Wouldn't a normal reaction be to just grab your shoulder in a pain and turn around with an 'I'm-gonna-fucking-kill-you! ' look in your eyes ?

Seems like it's absolutely ingrained in some player's DNA to just fall on the ground and flail around like a sissy no matter what happens.
Nice victim blaming going on here.

Makes Keane on Hangeland look like a fair tackle.

Edit: translation for the lesser humans who don't speak Spanish:

"Hey @suarezcunt, if you're still hungry come take a bite of a Big Mac ;)"

You should reread both my post and the post I was replying to. I was speaking of those who didn't want Italians parade in their country (the majority of which were immigrants). I had never intended to say that they should like the Italian team, I've lived in Germany and I love the rivarly with my German friends.

You quoted a post about salty German fans and called them racists. It's pretty easy to understand.

I don't care if you go full goalpost moving now instead of saying the racist stuff was maybe a step too far.

Speaking for the two big teams in CONCACAF, Mexico and USA have usually switched from being friends/rivals based on the situation. Last year, Mexico went from hating the US to thanking and celebrating with them once they both qualified. It does get weird sometimes.

Just listen to this Mexican commentator after US dropped Panama from qualifying
I think that whole charace was mostly sarcastic, Concacaf teams and fans don't like eachother, period. I still want to see Concacaf teams do well cause then Concacaf gets some respect, not only from other confederations but from concacaf teams and press actualy. I hate mexican press always saying Concacaf is the shittiest area when Oceania and Asia are clearly much much worse historically. I'm actually worried about the coming area tournaments cause it will be really competitive now. I'll keep rooting for Concacaf teams as long as none of them get further than Mexico lol

Best Suarez:

No biting incidents, mostly brilliant play. Well okay, a few dives. But he was in our hearts. Shame that between them and now he has bitten 3 times on television and a racism incident.

Why not ban everyone that kicks, headbutts, elbows and that stuff to players too?

Kicks and elbows happen in football, but if someone clearly headbutts for the third time in his career I'd be okay with a lifetime ban as well.

I'd also argue that biting is on another level compared to all of those, and doing it a third time justifies never letting the man on a pitch again.

Yeah let's blame the guy who got bit for falling on the ground. Okay.

Deserved defeat, Prandelli played for the draw and got rightfully fucked and then when we needed pace for our counterattacks he brings on Fatssano as the lone striker..
To be honest we played some decent football beetween 2010 and 2012 but we regressed after reaching the Euro final when Prandelli started changing lineups and tactics every game for no reason without establishing a definite system and doing experiments even in this WC.....
The truth is that he's a good but overrated coach ideal for midtable teams like Fiorentina
Regaring the players, the showed no heart, no runs without the ball and they were even walking on the pitch......

And now Prandelli is blaming the referee LOL.....He should be shamed of himself and his choices

I think there are quite a lot of photoshops going around. I think he bit him and I think that's inexcusable, but I think the image with the bitemarks is a faaaake.

Again, that doesn't excuse him though. And even if it wasn't a bite and was trying to headbutt, it's still idiotic and inexcusable.

Nice victim blaming going on here.

Not blaming anyone.. just found it a funny and of course a typical reaction for today's football.

I mean OK, being bit in the shoulder hurts , I get that.. but why would you fall and roll around on the ground for that ?

Euro's are better than the world cup. The groups alone are ridiculous. Like Italy, France, Holland in one group which happened in 2008. The group matches are pretty much finals already. Sadly it gets expanded :(

Must have been some heavy lobbying from Norway. Can't wait to participate in another tournament again!

Didn't Suarez roll to the ground too? And he was the one who was doing the biting.

Still victim blaming, I see.

I actually think Suarez should not only be banned, any goals he scored in the tournament should be retroactively voided....

England through to the knockout stages :D

I'd say a career ending tackle, made with the clear intention to injure another player, is as bad or even worse than a bite.

The reaction from both was priceless. If he had just run over and showed the bite marks right away it may have been more apparent to the ref.
